damn, right - he tears it up every night! wait... was that tears or tears? never mind.

He rehearses tearing up would be more accurate.

OverZealous staffers, you mean.

"Glenn reacts the same way to issues whether he knows people are watching or not, and is proud to show his emotions, unlike the cowardly, two-faced critics who hide behind anonymity," Balfe told Kurtz.

Beck has wept on his show when discussing his love for America and separately while pining for a "simpler time."

Priceless. How adorable.

"Beck has become a constant topic of conversation among Fox journalists, some of whom say they believe he uses distorted or inflammatory rhetoric that undermines their credibility," Kurtz notes.

Don't worry FOXtards, you never had credibility.

If this is true, I'll have to change my mind about him and admit he has some talent after all.

No, it's ok to cry if you're hearkening back to a time when negroes, women, and homos all knew their place. That's an AmericaTM Glenn Beck can love again.

Glenn Beck, tears up on cue...

I guess Glenn Beck is kind of like the Peter North of crying.

Uh, have we not seen this douchebag putting Vick's VapoRub under his eyes to facilitate crying? I believe we have.

Big deal. I can cry on cue, too. I used to put it on my theatre résumé under "special skills" back when I was going on a lot of touring troupe and summer-stock auditions.

Of course, that was before I got tired of never eating, and opted for the security of a desk job. Hell, if I'd known I could make as much money as Beck has, just from crying and pretending to be someone I'm not in an attempt to fire up people's emotions? I might have stuck with the stage.

The man has a serious mental illness and I hope he someday gets the treatment he needs.

I wonder if he tears up when he thinks about that girl in 1990?

I thought that his guests were going to cry the day that he had African-American conservatives on and he accused Democrats of killing more black people than the Ku Klux Klan (because of pro-abortion stances).

Observers have speculated that his crying may simply be an act to boost ratings.

2010-03-15 05:53:26 PM
"tears up on cue" makes his crying sound planned and put on. The truth is he is just passionate about what he is saying, and it gets to him every time.

2010-03-15 05:53:40 PM
Glenn Beck is a shock jock. 100% of what he does is for ratings and attention. He doesn't give a damn about any of the causes that he advocates, and he's laughing at you conservatives all the way to the bank.

Beckerhead tears up whenever his owners who sign his big checks tear up.

and they tear up every time Democracy rears its ugly head and threatens to devour them.

2010-03-15 05:54:25 PM
Observers have speculated that his crying may simply be an act to boost ratings. But according to the Chris Balfe, president of Beck's production company Mercury Radio Arts, the fact that Beck does it both on and off camera is a mark of his sincerity.

Dude cried at the end of Armageddon.

Way to sound like you're not trying to change the subject, Mr. Producer.

Just watched Glenn Beck say that relying on the government to "grant us rights"(such as the right to health care) turns the republic upside down and enslaves us to the government.

I am still trying to figure out what the hell he was encouraging me to do. Give myself whatever rights I feel like such as the right to walk down the street in the nude, disallow the government to make amendments to the Bill of Rights, or that allowing the government to grant us the right to health care is akin to enslaving us to them...

I remember when the slaves were freed...and apparently re-enslaved to the Federal Government.

Man, that Lincoln and his 38th Congress were crafty.

I bet Glenn Beck doesn't live his life as they did in simpler times.

Maybe what Beck means by simpler times was when there was nothing but royalty and serfs.

Actors. Who'd you think I meant?
