Recording in a trailer in a parking lot kind of makes sense, what with the whole "one guy who sings and one guy who does the rest" format and London's real estate prices.

Vince Clarke should've hung it up when he got kicked out of Depeche Mode, though. Eesh.

Erasure is one of those enduring bands that, like the Pet Shop Boys, has a huge core fanbase and continually makes good, solid music.

/all their proper albums are in my "should I delete them or keep them?" folder

I don't think he should have hung it up. The man still has some life left in him, and I great every Erasure album as being possibly the last ever since Bell was diagnosed with HIV.

I just got The Innocents deluxe edition. It's a damn fine release.

Nice to see he's going back to the real analog gear. He went laptop a while back and it didn't got unnoticed (and *not* for the better...)
