I blame it on poor government budgeting making the classes boring to the student body.

2003-04-25 09:49:13 AM
this sounds like an ad for aerosmith, seriously, what teenager would go see them? i've never seen a whole-school walkout either (cept for those anti-war protests)

skeletons on strings....

/never reads articles.

2003-04-25 09:49:15 AM
Amazing. Even a slacker like this can put "Top 1% of class" on college applications.

Yes, I know it's an elementary school, just making a point here.

2003-04-25 09:51:12 AM
I blame it on the Brits...

We had senior skip day in hs...Myself and several friends made several phone calls to the cops to let them know where the party was. Our star quarterback/jackass broke his ankle jumping out of a second story window trying to run fromt he cops.

/sweet justice.

"Despite having just one pupil, the school is well-equipped and has a secretary, three computers, a television and an art room as well as a school house with three bedrooms."

for one kid, that is farking amazing. some schools in america don't have what she has got.

2003-04-25 09:53:58 AM
hehe..nobody reads the articles

oops, she, sorry folks

/reads article pre-post next time

2003-04-25 09:54:47 AM
Why read the articles when you can just try to make a witty remark, totally missing the article's point. Isn't that more fun?!

2003-04-25 09:55:48 AM
I knew when I posted that it was obviously a home schooler without reading the article.

/defending his Boobies, sort of

"But the girl's mother, who wishes to remain anonymous to protect her daughter's privacy, is keeping her daughter at home."

Think the teacher will figure out who the student is?

Bilegeyser - what a $hitty thing to do....why did you feel the need to ruin the fun for others?

2003-04-25 09:57:05 AM
WTF?! I did NOT type the word "Boobies" in there.....

It replaced the words "last post" with that word!

2003-04-25 09:57:17 AM
Eh, our senior skip day sucked, we were threatened with automatic expulsion should we skip without a valid excuse once the administration got wind of our plans.

I did once cut a one-person class in high school. That was a dumb idea. Eh, live and learn. Those were the good old days....

2003-04-25 09:57:57 AM
In Cuba they will assign a teacher to come to your house if you live too far away from a school.

/got nothing

the defender of the boobies. that'd be an OK job.

HanZnSolo - haha... welcome to fark

Good call! Better than OK! We'd need to inspect them daily to make sure they hadn't been damaged during the day...

Cola are you going to do that one pair at a time?

- just seeing if you need one of those comical sidekicks that gets into all sorts of boobie trouble.

"Despite having just one pupil, the school is well-equipped and has a secretary, three computers, a television and an art room as well as a school house with three bedrooms."

Is this the 'School Built on the Design Workings of the Palaces of Saddam Hussein'? Next someone will be telling me the Bathrooms, (Im sorry, Water Closet's) will have 24 Karat Gold Faucets, a view of the Atlantic and Tiffany Glass in every window..

2003-04-25 10:03:02 AM
Glad I went to a secondary school (similar to highschool)where it was your own decision if you went to class...

2003-04-25 10:03:19 AM
I was wondering that too, Plunk.

Well, one student, one teacher and a secretary. I suppose if they were snowed in each would have a place to crash.

Or, maybe it's a good story for A.S.S. :)

Boobies last post

I guess the filter just loves you and your last post

HanZnSolo:- I think you'll find you typed "first" not "last".

"I was not consulted about the appointment," the mother said. "I mentioned to the old teacher as far back as last September that if Ms Puckey got the job my children would not be going to school.

BAD: You are such a bad teacher that you are only able to teach one student.

WORSE: Said student's parents think you are so bad that they remove her from a school with a 3 to 1 computer to student ratio.

2003-04-25 10:06:00 AM
The only good thing about being one of the "good kids" in h.s. is that when it came time for senior skip day (errr...actually, days) I never got in trouble. Because I was, of course, having a conference with one of my teachers--and not taking a free day or a 4 hour lunch. Nope. Not me. :)

2003-04-25 10:06:44 AM
first, last....either way, it doesn't spell boobies....I can do that.

B-O-O-B-I-E-S

I'd love to be the secretary at that school. Not a damn thing to do and a schoolhouse with three bedrooms (naptime!)

"But the girl's mother, who wishes to remain anonymous to protect her daughter's privacy, is keeping her daughter at home."

Yeah, maybe it was that other lady with a kid on the island. Oh wait....

2003-04-25 10:13:22 AM
I know someone else already mentioned it, but...
...a school house with three bedrooms.

I'd probably keep my daughter out of that school as well!

2003-04-25 10:14:02 AM
Myself and several friends made several phone calls to the cops to let them know where the party was.

Oh, farking wahhh.

The D&D players were mad because the big bad jocks made fun of them, so they decide to call the cops and ruin the party for a bunch of other people.

I love people who, instead of making their own fun, decide to try to bring everyone else down to their shiatty level.

Damn, you are a hater. No wonder they used to stuff your ass in lockers and stick your head in the toilet. Do you think there is honor in being a snitch? Then, to this day you still take pleasure in knowing that you contributed to negatively affecting another person for the rest of their life. Weak.

2003-04-25 10:20:07 AM
SchlingFo

If you don't think watching people flee from second story windows to avoid the cops is "fun," then you've never lived!

2003-04-25 10:22:12 AM
I don't get it, what does aerosmith have to do with anything?

2003-04-25 10:23:41 AM
Bilegeyser - you are an ass

2003-04-25 10:23:58 AM
FotH, I'm sorry if an incredibly minorly abstract thought hurt you

2003-04-25 10:24:46 AM
It's all good fun until someone puts an ankle out.

...and history repeats itself. So, are you guys going to go give Bilegeyser a wedgie now?

2003-04-25 10:29:46 AM
We had a senior assembly and all the seniors skipped it. The principal was going to suspend everyone until he found out his daughter also skipped. (she was w/us drinking at a friends house)

Hey, It's common knowledge GEEKS hold a lot of animosity towards their "oppressors" for the rest of their little lives. It consumes their every thought. Just wait until class reunions. Will the rest of us think of jobs and friends and life, they think of "That's the guy the slapped the books out of my hands in the hall" Poor little GEEKS, cunsumed by bitter anger....BWWAHHHHHHHHAAHAHAHAHAHA
God it was good to be a jock.

2003-04-25 10:31:27 AM
I went to a school that had people and ... other people.

You should try it sometime.

2003-04-25 10:31:39 AM
Bilegeyser

You farkin' suck.

Our Senior Skip day rocked. Hell, I spent half my senior year at the beach.
