See when I tried to paint that as the school mural they got all pissy.

He may have a passion, but he's got as much talent as Trig Palin.

I couldn't get past the stabby feelings the phrase "FEMAIL TODAY" evoked in me.

eh - give him time. For somebody who has never drawn before he's doing pretty good. It's much harder to learn to draw in your 50s than it is when you are a kid.

agreed. he will improve over time. it's the vision that's important, without that art doesn't exist.

Wait, so he was a youth offended? This guy joy rode a car 40 years ago and we're playing the "street fighter changed to kitten lover" angle?

Meh, seems like a lame-ass hippie to me. Let the light in? He went from fixing things and hanging out with his friends to defacing his walls and talking about what life means. Hint: it doesn't mean shiat, go back to fixing sinks!

No point insulting him. He's probably off painting flowers on his ceiling.

I believe that's the title of Kurt Cobain's final work.

EPIPHANY

The term is used in either a philosophical or literal sense to signify that the claimant has "found the last piece of the puzzle and now sees the whole picture," or has new information or experience, often insignificant by itself, that illuminates a deeper or numinous foundational frame of reference.

His brain hemorrhaged approximately 9 years ago. By the time he learns to paint - at this rate, at least - he'll be long dead.

He clearly has an amazing passion, and unfortunately his painting obsession probably keeps him too busy to allow him to learn the artistic fundamentals. A real shame, that.

So, now we're gonna prescribe a blow to the head for social miscreants?

I could really get into this new law. Is there gonna be like a "regulation" hammer for this?

Or you're too lazy to find a picture from "Phenomenon"?

I can't keep track of bad Travolta movies, but yes, that is the more appropriate reference.

I am that lazy.

shiat like this scares the crap out of me.

The thought that an injury to my head could change who I am so drastically, alter what makes me ME... I.. nnggh. It's enough to almost make me want to wear a helmet EVERYWHERE.

/Also, Alzheimer's scares me more than the prospect of death. Because once you get to the advanced stages, the 'you' that everyone knew probably IS dead, your body just hasn't realized it yet...

18 hours a day huh? His art looks like the product of acid and no sleep, and no talent.

It's 430am and I can't think of anything that mean to say.... except I bet his house probably smells like ass.

This explains a lot. My ex was a terrible painter that loved cats.
