That's like, the definition of a poor choice.

2010-03-10 08:12:03 PM
I've been dealing with those consequences ever since I joined fark.

2010-03-10 08:12:25 PM
really ? kids need to be taught this vague truism ?

2010-03-10 08:12:28 PM
It's not just the headline that's hopelessly vague. In a 148 word article, the first mention of the subject is at word 132.

Remember, children, never put an unwrapped hoo-hoo-dilly in a cha-cha!

I don't know. I've had my fair amount of unprotected sex and have no children or STDs.

Pulling out works fine, far as I can tell. The only tough choice is where to blow it. Or more precisely, her stomach or her face.

You mis-used the Romero meme, dumbmitter. But I guess I shouldn't blame you, no one uses it correctly anymore.

Not to buck common wisdom, but I've been on a weird run of poor choices ending with great results.

"Poor choices can end with bad results"

Or they can end with getting lots and lots of government money. One of the two.

Actually, i think it IS important, probably THE most important thing to convey to a child, or even an adult, in life.

Just because something is obviously wrong or bad, that doesn't mean its natively in human nature to refrain from doing it. People think they won't get caught, won't suffer consequences... Humans like to live in the moment.

Well, hell - that's kind of obvious, isn't it?

I have no idea who said it but : "Drinking in excess is supposed to take 15 years off your life. Those are the 15 years my kids will be changing my diaper so you can have them."

Every choice you make has a consequence, some positive, some negative.

See, that's just it. The Romero meme has come to be used on obvious news stories. It was originally for news stories about old technology. Like a story about that wonderful new social networking site Face book, only 2 years after everyone and their dog has an account.

That you know of?

Bragging about your success really just tells us more about your number of sexual encounters.

It's really not a vast array of different girls so much as a number of times with just a few girls. But the facts stand, my research shows the pullout method to have a 100% success rate. Strangely enough, that rate being for pregnancy, STDs and, feelings of success in general.

I'd never get snipped. I just don't think I'd feel like a man if I couldn't impregnate women.

Nothing wrong with gettin a little snip snip...makes sexy time less stressful...no worries about getting a call from Maury saying You ARE the father, right?

Good choices can have bad outcomes, too.

That is the biggest thing I've learned in the last 25 years.

vernonFL: Bad Choice #1?

Living in Albany

Thread over in one.

/seriously, watching WALB is like watching Albany promote itself as the greatest city in the history of ever
//WFXL at least reports on the rest of Southwest GA
///however, during the Deep South Snowpocalypse, WALB's anchor threw a snowball at the head weatherperson

Am I the only one who read that and thought, "So then sometimes poor choices can end in good results?"

We need another obvious icon. After Ric Romero acknowledged Fark and cheered us on, the impact lost it's bang.

He's totally cool now.
