I don't know about that. We're talking about a 7-year-old here. It's not like he had options. Kept his head and put the fear of cops into the bad guys, so they fled before police even got there. That's a horrible weapon for home defense.

First I think it's illegal to even bring on into the USA now.
But even more, you want a weapon that is simple and easy to use.

The Spas-12 weighs something like 10lbs. Most shotguns are in the 4-5lbs range. It also has more features then needed.

When you are in the middle of a robbery, you don't need to be worrying around with that. You want a gun that's simple and easy to wield.
