FTFA: "on possession of stolen things"

Really? That's legalese? Is that like the charge of "shooting up stuff", "drinking where he wasn't supposed to" and "fighting the po-po"?

Never, ever, ever ask a pig for directions. I ended up cuffed while my car was searched because I pulled over to ask directions once.

I was eventually uncuffed and let go (I had done nothing wrong) but I learned my lesson- only engage a pig in conversation if you want to be harassed.

To be honest it's probably just easier to avoid them all the time. Even with a gun in my hand, cocked and pointed directly at the face of a pig I still wouldn't feel safe...

(And I get the impression that's the only way a pig would ever give someone directions)

Actually, this reminds me of one of my trips to Cali. Was driving out to San Diego, it was super late as we didnt get out of Phoenix until 7pm on Friday night. We were pretty close to where we needed to be, but I was unfamiliar with the freeway I was looking for as I never been down that way. I thought I missed my turnoff, so I stopped at a gas station to get directions. There was an on duty officer at the gas station, So I asked if I missed the freeway I needed, he said no, I was going the right way, and that it was up about 15 miles more. Even though that didnt sound right, I took the cop at his word. The F*cker sent me 40 miles further out of my way. I had missed the exit I needed by 4 miles due to construction. Im sure the smarmy bastard had a great laugh at my expense.

Officer.com? I found this funny for some reason.

So cops be cops all day then go home and read what other cops did all day? Or are they really fapping to the Tactical Gear ad's?

A customers secretary once told me to: "Turn where the sandwich shop used to be".

Hehe, I have had directions like that before, I have travelled to most every state of the Mississippi, and everything on the 40 from coast to coast. I used to always keep an alminac in my car for trips, and usually had a recent map for cross country. I agree that getting someplace has become a lost art, and it seems everytime the satalites tell us where to go they are trying to kill me.

GPS is good for some stuff, especially traffic cams and gas stations, but I prefer a good adventure.

Once I asked a statey for directions and ended up having my car and person searched on the side of the road because he claimed he smelled pot. He didn't find a thing.

Moral of the story: don't ask MA stateys for directions.
