I can laugh because it wasn't my kids.

2003-04-24 12:47:07 PM
Oh, those wacky French.

2003-04-24 01:08:24 PM
Great headline. Usually the "______ ensues" seems pretty tired, but I thought this one was hilarious.

2003-04-24 02:11:59 PM
Oh, oh, let me be the first to say it! "France surrenders"

"It did not say how they would punish the twins"

Someone needs to PS up a punishment.

2003-04-24 05:41:15 PM
Damn. Looks like a new generation of Frogs already causing trouble and not being too neighborly. Man they learn early!

2003-04-24 05:41:22 PM

2003-04-24 05:41:32 PM

2003-04-24 05:43:44 PM
I'd give them kids a box of 128 crayons.

Every kid needs a salmon colored crayon.

A GIS for "French twins" brought up these fine lads:

Mmm...they do look naughty.

2003-04-24 05:44:57 PM
This is about the time that Grandma would send me into the back yard to the willow tree to get her a " switch ".

Then she would tear my ass up with it. To this day I cringe whenever I see a willow tree.

2003-04-24 05:45:12 PM
I'll bet you can still get the flesh colored crayon in france.

2003-04-24 05:45:15 PM
bouncing on beds
They raise frogs over there, you know.

2003-04-24 05:47:25 PM
The boys' parents will compensate the house owners, the daily Liberation said.

It did not say how they would punish the twins.

I think that having to grow up French is enough punishment in itself.

2003-04-24 05:47:58 PM
"It did not say how they would punish the twins"

The U.N. will decide, so nothing will happen to them.

2003-04-24 05:48:17 PM
Hey COondog - Mine did that too. I had to pick it out myself and it had to meet her specifications. It hurt worse to do that than to actually get switched.

2003-04-24 05:48:49 PM
did the neighbors surrender?

2003-04-24 05:49:05 PM
But how is it that tadpoles can hold crayons?

2003-04-24 05:49:44 PM
*Ahem*
Gwinny?
S'more please...

Trade sanctions. We will limit their importation of milk and cookies.

Ku_No_Ichi: nope - that would constitute threadjacking : )

2003-04-24 05:54:19 PM
I think it's fishy how they pointed out how they were French

2003-04-24 05:54:33 PM
Police initially feared the boys had been abducted, before they were discovered late in the evening walking through their home town of Deols, western France, stark naked and holding a bedside lamp.

Hee! I thought I was the only one. . .

Darkhorse23 and Coondog:

Thank God my Granny crapped out before I had a chance to get out of diapers. From what I hear, she used to do that to my sisters -- she was a mean biatch - used to abuse my dad when he was a kid too. What's up with 100 year-old-people and that fvcked up punishment? Come to think of it, all my grandparents were abusive asshats.

/glad my granny is dead

2003-04-24 05:55:21 PM

Oh, do they?

2003-04-24 05:55:27 PM
Why did the color of usernames get changed to black for some people, but it's still blue for others?

2003-04-24 05:56:01 PM
Blue for profiles I've visited.

Anyone else getting this?

2003-04-24 05:56:25 PM

Arched: indeed...who are you!?

2003-04-24 05:58:35 PM

Quick1

It's blue because Internet Explorer will mark visited links in a different color. You can change the color of these visited links if you want to.

2003-04-24 06:00:47 PM
Damn kids and markers...

2003-04-24 06:01:12 PM
Quick1: I guess the staff likes to spice things up every now and then. A few months ago they swithced fonts. Change is good. Peanut butter with grape nuts is better.

2003-04-24 06:01:22 PM
Gwinny, how many tall blond englishmen in NYC have you had the pleasure of sitting on the lap of?

2003-04-24 06:01:23 PM
Darkhorse23: I remember Richard Pryor used to do a comedy routine about his mom sending him out to get something to beat his own ass with. Good stuff.

I remember me and all my siblings and cousins watched and laughed as they finally cut that tree down before it fell down from old age.

2003-04-24 06:08:30 PM
Good_Moleman_To_You: Oh, it wasn't that bad for me. I could run a lot faster than my would-be punishers. And I hardly ever got caught for my demonic behavior. Smarter and faster than the ones before me I guess.
