Raft jumps are not unheard of. A bunch of people jump out holding onto a raft, one or two people are inside, and everyone has fun.

Nice.

Never tried skydiving, but kayaking, if you can get the "extension of my body" feel for it, is so farking awesome, it becomes second nature. Falling from a great height? Make sure you've got solid footblocks in that boat or you'll slide into the bow and have a helluva time getting out (trust me).

/just wish my leg didn't always go to sleep when kayaking. it's difficult to bail out and then try to swim with a dead/numb leg. Especially when you don't realize it's being scraped on rocks.

Shave down your hip pads, it might help a little bit. I've just kind of gotten used to having to stop and stretch every 30 or 45 minutes, or, alternatively, dragging myself out of the boat at the takeout and lying there in pain as the blood rushes into my lower extremities.

The custom-installed ratcheting backband system I made for my SuperEZ is wonderful!

You have a big outfitting issue, you should always be able to do a Eazy Wet exit.

if the leg is falling asleep then you may want to check your backband, and your hip pads. if they are OK maybe some pre yakin streches are in order?

Would have been impressive if he were to land in rapids, so the snowboard skydiving is still more impressive.

This is cool. This article makes me want to go jump again, but I'm flat broke. I don't have my certification so I have to go tandem and it's $200/jump. I have a friend who might be able to hook me up w/a discount.

One day I'll get bored and combine my two hobbies to start the new craze of Kiteyaking. Kayaking powered by a Kiteboard kite.

So I was at the bottom of this drop waiting to skoop up my buddy in a pale(if he missed), if you get to 1,000 ft you could take his record....

Saw videos of friends doing this in the early 90's. Actually, if it's something you can strap to yourself, someone has probably already jumped out of an airplane with it.

Nice, But saddly he is missing some crazy runs, "Spring Runoff" started early this year, then again, to him I guess they are not "Crazy".

Much love. Not nearly as daring, but on my last jump I tucked a can of Coke into my chest strap. Did a hop & pop at full altitude, popped open the can, and enjoyed the sunset for what seemed like a ten-minute ride down.

High hop and pops are awesome. The next thing to try after that is CReW. I've done a few CReW jumps, including a four-stack.
