I'm sorry, but I'm more used to women withholding sex when they're angry, not the other way around. I'd be up for the change of pace personally.

So she's a dude?

Well, I think I might be able to keep pace for a while, but then I'd kind of have to join in the appointment schedule.

You're right, it's not every man's fantasy. As far as I know, it's just mine. Send her to my office. Just give me a woman who wants to have sex JUST to have sex and won't make me pretend to be her friend for several months after.

zahadum party planner: I'm sorry, but I'm more used to women withholding sex when they're angry, not the other way around. I'd be up for the change of pace personally.

Yeah, but men are traditionally (perhaps even genetically, more than societally) considered to be the "instigators/aggressors" when it comes to sex.

Sure, there are weeks when I can't keep up with Mistress™' appetite in bed, but it balances out.

I'm pretty sure you would have to be EXTREMELY comfortable and sexually "mature" to live with someone who you know that you could never truly satiate.

Would be like living with a [clinical] nymphomaniac. It would just be crushing to your ego.

I thought I could get in here before the dangerously ignorant comments started rolling in but I see I am too late.

It's now pointless to try and explain that having sex addiction is as dangerous to relationships as an addiction to meth or alcohol is. It sounds like having this kind of person in your life will be one long party, but it is not. It's sad and without proper therapy and hard work in a 12 step program a sex addict can wind up as bad off as any other kind of addict. Recovery from addiction is never ending and someone in recovery must be dilligent and mindful against relapse.

With a girl I've been dating for a while? No thanks. When I was 18 I would crawl two miles through broken glass to feel a solitary boob, but somewhere along the line I got old. I'm 15 years past my sexual prime, and nowadays I'd sometimes rather go to bed and get a good night's sleep. And no, I'm not claiming it's awesome, just how it is. I have zero desire to hump four times a day. Every other day is plenty. And mornings or afternoons please.

2010-02-27 06:41:29 PM

I dated a girl who liked sex more than me, it did sort of get tiring after awhile. The good part was she didn't make it seem seem like it was a chore whenever I started kissing her when I knew she was probably not in the mood. My ex made a big deal of that one.

Also, it's hard to fark 3 or 4 times a night, every night. Taxing on the legs and back. I smoked a lot of pot back then so I always told her I was getting too winded and got her to ride. Man, I love cowgirl/reverse cowgirl...

Shannon, who has been in a relationship with banker Jamie Thexton, 25, for over a year, has slept with more than 70 men over the past ten years, including several one-night stands and casual affairs.

She says: "I am not proud of being with so many men, but the addiction takes control of my life. I will do anything to get my fix."

I am shocked and appalled at this woman's loose virtue. How dare she have casual sex with a variety of men over a prolonged period of time! How dare she!

NYRBill: 4 times a day? no problem

Oh sure, you say that now. But let me hear from you in, oh, six or eight months, when your dong is a limp banana skin and your balls are like shriveled raisins, and you've taken to hiding a cucumber and two kiwi fruits in your jock strap in the desperate hope you can JUST THIS ONCE get a night's sleep without having to bring that insatiable whirlpool to orgasm because there isn't a drop of semen left anywhere in your body.

You're not a submarine there, ace.

what I am saying is no matter what the addict is addicted to, it often destroys the addict and every relation the addict is in.

You may think it is great that your partner is a sex addict, that you yourself will never go without sex again. This may be true, but the addict as an obsession and a compulsion and will satisfy them in any manner possible. If you are not around, if you are too tired to perform, whatever. The addict is not going to wait around to get the fix. They will satisfy that need as soon as possible with or without you. Now the sex addict may not think that what he or she has done in getting that fix has anything to do with the relationship they are in (and really this is what addiction comes down to, cognitive justification) but the addicts partner is now hurt because their partner has cheated and possibly picked up a disease along the way.

But yeah, people would rather think that sex addiction is a good thing because there is a chance they may luck out and have a free sex buffet for life...the problem is everyone gets in line at the buffet.

Can you cite a few examples of people who've actually been absolved of personal responsibility for any of those reasons? Personal anecdotes don't count. Citations preferred.

I mean, even if you disagree with the notion that any of those mitigate a person's bad behavior, do you even acknowledge that any of them can contribute to causing it? Or in your mind is merely talking about the pathology of behavior--acknowledging that it even exists--the same as excusing it?

Just saying "I was drunk" is a really farking common excuse. Whether it's accepted or not really depends on the dumb shiat they did.
