Pretty much. From the map given it looks more specifically like the Bermuda Triangle.

Unless it appears on Google Maps, it doesn't exist. Unless it does appear. Then Google is clearly complicit in this faux controversy in order to serve its parochial goals.

Old news is so exciting. The SEA is just now figuring out what we've been observing, mostly in the Pacific but now in the Atlantic, too, for years.

The Great Nike Armada

"Two containers filled with Nike shoes fell off a container ship in the Pacific Ocean during a storm in 1999. Cross Trainers appeared on Washington and Oregon coasts in February. They should appear near Everett this month."

I'm no expert, but my intuition is to go with Tony_Pepperoni on this. Most of the sample in the photograph seems to be thermoplastic rather than thermoset. Stuff's a reasonable petroleum feedstock, given a little crackin', I think.

I love Quebec. I'd certainly take it over some of the places from which many of you hail. Evansville, Indiana? Iowa? Upstate NY? You're mocking Quebec?

Best looking women in North America...Best restaurants and bars...Best beer...Les Canadiens de Montreal...Only place in North America to see an F1 race...McGill University for less than $4000 per year...an incomparable joie de vivre...safe to walk anywhere at any time...Try and beat Quebec. You can't.

Your intuition is a bit off on this one, mate. While they haven't determined the size of this one yet, the garbage patch in the Pacific is larger than Texas. Some estimates make it the size of the lower 48. You ain't cleaning that up with trawlers and nets.

It's important to differentiate Montreal from the rest of Quebec. Montreal is great.

You're right. That said, from what I've seen, the rest isn't so bad. Tremblant is good skiing. Quebec City is beautiful. Gaspe is incredible. Maybe the small towns are different. Cheers.

Well, seeing as how you sent all the dipshiats down to Raleigh NC, I'm sure it's a nice place to live now. Seriously, every other person I meet is either from NJ or farking Pissburgh

All I know about Quebec is that, by the time their drivers finally make it the warm environs of the Southeastern US, they have lost all sense of reason, sanity, and courtesy. They are the worst ambassadors on earth.

On the other hand, Unibroue and Poutine.

/going to book tickets...
