Someone pointed out on the radio this morning
1) any time you go to a sporting event you have to watch out for flying balls/athletes anyway
2) there is a disclaimer printed on all event tickets

WEENERS!

George Brett would kick your ass for that comment. If he wasn't busy shiatting his pants. He's good for it about once a year.

They were generally competitive until 1994. After the strike they have been a joke.

Now leave my Royals alone, it's not their fault.

And as a KC fan this was the ultimate smack in the face. How the fark can the raiders ruin KC baseball? By signing and hurting Bo. He was the next best thing to Brett. Goddamned raiders.

I hope you are not serious about that call. That happened in Game 6. Tell me what the score was in Game 7, and then tell me how you can whine about being robbed of the Series.

My college roommate was a Cardinals fan. He had a Cardinals '85 World Series Champs pennant, so I had to bring my correct Royals '85 World Series Champs pennant. He was also a Buffalo Bills fan and had a poster of OJ Simpson, he agreed to take it down if OJ got convicted of the murders...

They didn't steal it, we just couldn't win a home game.

Umm, you don't know that. That call happened on the lead off batter for the ninth, Orta. I would say Porter's passed ball that allowed the runners to move up to third and second (which then led to an intentional walk and a pinch hitter up next for the pitcher spot in the lineup) had more to do with the outcome than that blown call.

It changed the momentum of the game. If we had gotten that out, it would have put a lot more pressure on the guys at the plate.

It was a 1-0 World Series game in the bottom of the ninth. The pressure was already there.

Care to explain Game 7?
