Other than destroying my mail, I'd be happy to get domesticated rats in my mailbox. They make great pets.

The woman said she had not ordered rats by mail, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office. The incident is believed to be a prank.

Well then, how did she order them?

Yuppers, that's good stuff.
At least it was not more of those mail slot mice.

I once found an ant colony in a windowed envelope. That was gross, little eggs and ants everywhere.

FTA: "The woman said she had not ordered rats by mail, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office. The incident is believed to be a prank."

You aren't telling the whole story, LOL kid. It just gets funnier as it goes on.

Let me guess--that's where the Muppets retire to when they leave show-business. There's whole trailer parks full of old Muppets singing and doing Muppety things, like firing themselves out of cannons instead of walking to the Post Office like normal people and Sesame Street Muppets.

I wish that these small town and county papers would say what State they are in. A tiny map in every banner would help.

This one appears to be in Minnesota. Which sounds like a good place for Muppets. I missed the Toon connection. A good place for Toons, too. Didn't they elect one Governor a few years back?

Ant colonies creep me out more than just about everything else. Especially those "odorous house ants" - often you smell their unique and disgusting odor first before you realize you have disturbed one of their nests. Yuck. Fortunately we don't have introduced fire ants in CA (yet) but the stories I've heard of their relentless attacks if their mound is disturbed gives me pause. We have our own native fire ants but they're not really aggressive. And, of course, there's the ubiquitous Argentine ant, another introduced species. In fact, where my mom lives, the Argentines wiped out the odorous house AND fire ant colonies that used to be in the area. They're prolific sonofabiatches.
