The way that the rightwing continues to defend Sarah Palin against any criticism, no matter how valid & relevant, is astounding. The spin machine was never shut down. I don't know about Wanda. I don't think she helps anyone with the whole "it's all about him being black" routine. Republicans have had no trouble showing extreme fear and loathing for any Democrat, regardless of color. And while I don't doubt that their hate for this particular Democrat is exacerbated by his color, it's surely not all about that.

It seems so. That has always been the left's tactic though. You still hear butthurt over Lieberman and the 2000 election. The only reason Bill won in 92 was Perot but you don't hear the vile hatred for him from the right.

Maybe it was the quality of the video, but Palin seems to be aging in President years. This happies me on a few levels. One, I can't wait to see how big her following of teabagging yokels will be once her looks really start to go. But given her staggering level of attention whoring, is there any doubt that she would have lots of surgery done to remain in the public eye?
