Hot damn.

Also, french bread sounds delicious right now.

I have enjoyed Andrea Friedman's work when I have seen it. She was great in an episode of Law & Order: SVU.

She just unleashed a burn of epic proportions on Palin, and I salute her all the way. That was great.

My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes.

Holy fark win.

She was also a regular on "Life Goes On" as Corky's girlfriend. She is indeed an awesome young woman.

I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line "I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska" was very funny. I think the word is "sarcasm".

Awesome.

Just thought I'd quote it again because it rocked so hard.

TARDOWNED

/Down Syndrome.

Well, it's good to know that Trig still has a bright future and can look forward to eclipsing his mother in intellect and wit...

My name is Andrea Fay Friedman. I was born with Down syndrome. I played the role of Ellen on the "Extra Large Medium" episode of Family Guy that was broadcast on Valentine's day. Although they gave me red hair on the show, I am really a blonde. I also wore a red wig for my role in " Smudge" but I was a blonde in "Life Goes On". I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line "I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska" was very funny. I think the word is "sarcasm".

In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life. My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes.

All of it is beautiful.

2010-02-19 12:30:11 AM
I don't mean to be rude, but when someone with Down Syndrome stifles your supposed offended feelings with logic and wit, you may have to consider yourself a bit dull in the brain.

This may be one of the funniest and truest things I have ever read on Fark.

An appropriate response from an appropriate source. It had to be said, and the courage of someone with a similar affliction makes it as close to poetic justice as anything i've seen in a while.

Everyone knows Palin is a retarded (satire, don't worry), two-faced, intellectually dishonest coont, but do we really have to pretend what this lady here said is all that great of a burn?

We're not pretending.

how is it NOT "all that great of a burn"???

But the best part.....Palin will have to ignore it. Otherwise she will look like she's picking on a "tard".

That's the worst thing that could happen. Then people will forget about how she was completely pwned.

I would like to take this moment to tell about one of the best things to happen to me this week. My father let me know that he has lost faith in Sarah Palin due largely to her recent incident of writing notes on the palm of her hand.

/he had been having doubts, but that was too much stupid, even for him.
//shows there may be hope for him.

Abstruse: That's the worst thing that could happen. Then people will forget about how she was completely pwned.

oh no. she'll set her sights on a new target to be outraged over and this will get brought up again and again.

I thought the line "I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska" was very funny. I think the word is "sarcasm".

Technically no, it isn't "sarcasm," but you're close. Sorry to be overly pedantic. However, that word is closer to the meaning you were trying to convey than Palin calling Limbaugh's remarks "satire," so buck up young lady! You have a higher intellect than the former governor of Alaska, which means you actually possess the skills to become a governor of one of the 50 states in this great nation! Don't give up and aspire to your dreams.

Heffaloo: I would like to take this moment to tell about one of the best things to happen to me this week. My father let me know that he has lost faith in Sarah Palin due largely to her recent incident of writing notes on the palm of her hand.

No shat?

I really can't pin the Palin lover crowd down. After the election, I was going to post on this right-wing heavy forum asking the question "OK, seriously, now that it's over with, we can all admit Palin is farking retarded right?" But before I did, the piece where the Fox News reporter Carl Cameron reported that she spent all that cash, thought Africa was a nation, etc came out, and they were all pissed at "the liberal journalists trying to smear Palin."

I actually had to explain to them how Cameron was considered a right-wing hack, so I never even had to ask what I thought would have been a serious question.

Then the hand-note thing came out, and I thought it was a pretty silly point to make against her, considering everything else that was actually damaging, and THIS is what tipped your dad off?

I don't get it. Not at all.

Predictions, and percentage of likelihood, of Palin's response:

1. Nothing, she will just shut the fark up. (15%)
2. "She doesn't know any better, she is retarded." (50%)
3. "Her non-Real American parents put her up to it, like I do when I drag Trig out each time someone says something I don't really like." (80%)
4. "This is it, Real Americans! You see what that hopey-changey thing has done? It has turned our retarded citizens into effective and intelligent members of society. I now announce my bid for 2012, 'cause we have to keep those hopey-changey hands off of my vote getter grandson...er, son." (100%)

/okay, so really it was percentage of what I would like her to say...
//I can guarantee she will probably say something to make herself sound even stupider than before, if that is possible
///maybe this time she will let Trig type out a response
