Let's not forget that he was the star of the best DS9 episode ever.

Since this mentions Chuck, I now declare this a Chuck thread.

I have yet to watch tonight's episode, and I was a bit nonplussed by the rocky start (though I thought episode 3 picked up the pace and episode 4 was vintage Chuck), but after seeing episode 5 and especially episode 6, Chuck is back and as great as ever.

I can't believe NBC wanted to axe Chuck last year. Today, turns out that Chuck is on top of all their other programs in terms of ratings. From almost cancelled and only saved by Subway and crazy fans to the flagship program of the station. In one Premiere.

What a bunch of clueless morons the NBC executives are.

They make her look frumpy on the show, but don't overlook Sarah Lancaster.

Yeah we all saw that coming. Seven Law & Orders per week plus Jay Leno = dead network. Though I bet Chuck being the best isn't necessarily because it is the best but more because it is the only choice on a crappy network. Kinda like when you can't fark a girl in a club so you pick up a drunk chick at the diner @ 3AM. It's better than going home alone but you know she isn't close to what you want.

Three times for Beetlejuice or Bloody Mary, five for Candyman.

NuttierThanEver: Let's not forget that he was the star of the best DS9 episode ever.

I've only seen him in DS9, his repeat appearances in TNG as Worf's brother Kurn, and in that Babylon 5 movie as the skipper of the Victory. I didn't know he was still getting work.

It's not necessarily the case, but it is.

It's like being turned down after hitting on a homely looking girl in a bar, then having pity sex with Yvonne S. in the parking lot of that diner. Totally worth the 5 tranq darts.

I forgot he played Jake Sisko all grown up in DS9 (had to scroll down on the article to see the images). He had also appeared as Kurn again in DS9.

He was also awesome in Night of the Living Dead 1990, even though that version mostly sucked.

The story behind the making is way more interesting than the movie.

Todd got the part by taking the script into the hallway for 5-10 minutes, then coming back with it memorized.

Actually, I won't be in my bunk playing Mass Effect but in the fifth row on the left watching S03E07 of Chuck during this incredibly boring lecture, but yeah

Orgasmatron138: He was also awesome in Night of the Living Dead 1990, even though that version mostly sucked.

Holy shiat I had forgotten about that. I actually own a copy of that movie on DVD.

I don't think this version sucked, as long as you don't think of it as a remake, it's a very decent zombie movie.

I really liked it.

NuttierThanEver: Let's not forget that he was the star of the best DS9 episode ever.

It wasn't the best, but it was in the top 5.

And I'm assuming you're talking about the episode where he was adult Jake Sisko, not one of his guest roles as Kurn.

...but that last Kurn episode was pretty damn good, too. Who would have thought, back in the TNG days, that Worf would have had the balls to bury a dagger in his brother's chest?

Just one of the many reasons DS9 aged much better than TNG.

Tony Todd is a staple guest at horror conventions, and is a very cool guy - as long as you're not bugging him on his down time.

I'm here on behalf of the 1990 remake of Night of the Living dead. Tony Todd is badass in that flick, the female lead does a great job and the effects are done great in that film. It has a certain "cheese" factor to it, but I still rank it in my top 5 favorite zombie flicks of all time!

I did too, thought it was very well made for the time. I liked that they didn't try to do a shot for shot remake of the first unlike that shiatty Psycho turd from '98.

Patricia Tallman of Babylon 5 fame, I think was the lead female role. Interesting note: She married the guy who played Kosh on B5. Not the voice actor, the guy in the encounter suit.

She's one of the deadite witches in Army of Darkness and took her top off in George A. Romero's Knightriders (starring Ed Harris).
