That is seriously f*cked up

You could just like, send her to bed without dessert or something, dude.

Hey, Hannity and Beck and Limbaugh say it's not torture. It's not like he can just make the 4 year old go on the Larry King show for an hour and learn her alphabet. If you deny him the right to waterboard the preschooler, you pretty much strap her into a Mooslim bomb vest right there.

Right, waterboarding fetishists? It's totally harmless, right?

2010-02-08 03:26:56 PM
Yet, few complain about the "black prisons" where, according to pro-war pro-Bush conservative, Lindsey Graham, "women and children [are being] tortured, raped and murdered." I guess it's ok to torture some children, but not others.

while a shiatty thing to do, it's not waterboarding to dunk somebody's head in water. calling it that is just a ratings grab.

Obviously. Even a four-year old little girl can take it. Maybe Sean Hannity will finally give it a go for charity.

Yeah, but four year olds can take lots of things, like cocks in the anus.

To be fair, it wasn't technically waterboarding. Closer to holding someone's head underwater till they nearly drown.

That doesn't make it any better but we should know the facts before we link this to torture instead of just a horrible case of child abuse.

I keep trying to come up with something witty, but all I can do is imagine beating this guy with a rubber hose.

FTFA"Tabor told investigators that he feels his daughter is 'behind mentally for where she should be for her age,'"

I'm thinking that perhaps she isn't the one who's behind mentally for their age.

An Army sergeant who served in Iraq for 15 months has been restricted to his Washington military base after being accused of waterboarding his 4-year-old daughter because she refused to recite her ABCs.

Well, they are fighting terr'ists®, so you have to give them some leeway.

Or maybe just erase this cocksucker with a couple of 50 cal rounds and give his innocent child to, oh, I dunno. Somebody who isn't an ambulatory bag of mouldy dogsh*t?

I really hope somebody made this up.

Since posting bail, Tabor has been restricted to the base and is living in his unit's barracks, according to Piek.

Ok troops. Blanket party. Or time for an 'unfortunate' accident in the motor pool. Put him in a turret and disable the safety cord.. Family collects SGLI, this bastard never hurts her again. Win/Win.

Dances-With-Lobster is right. It's not so much waterboarding. They used that term so all you lefties would jump on this as political. Sure, it's awful and I think we should castrate him, but get your facts straight

All politics aside, what do you psychologist farkers think are the chances of this girl getting past this incident in any sort of a 'healthy' manner? I mean I'm guessing she's going to be scarred for life but there's a difference between "I hate my dad forever" and "I'm going to breed a son and do it to him to get back at my dad" levels of scarring.

Semantics. Making abuse and murder a game of semantics since the first time some fu*kwad put a crown on his head.

This is a horrible, tragic child abuse case.

The fact that the only thing you see here is a politicla talking point shows how morally bankrupt you are. Get your head out of your ass and the politics tab and come back to the world where outrage at an abused girl is the more normal reaction than the rush to make a political point.

Does anyone else think it's funny that protestors waterboarded someone as a demonstration of waterboarding? Or is it just me?

AliasUndercover: "I keep trying to come up with something witty, but all I can do is imagine beating this guy with a rubber hose."fark witty.

As a father, thinking about what this would do to a kid makes me nearly shake with rage. Anger management issues? Gee, you THINK?

Don't get me wrong, I am firmly of the opinion that kids need punishment when they do something wrong and encouragement when they do something right. Otherwise they grow up to be total farkwits. That said, this guy is part of my rationale for the death penalty. Anyone who would do something that cruel to a kid (yeah I know it wasn't full on waterboarding), needs to be farking removed the the world.

Preferably in ways that use hot oil, fire ants, and Drain-O.

Chances are pretty good that the dad's a victim too. Maybe, or maybe not. Still, I think we should get ready for a whole lot more stories just like this one.

"When you look at the number of people who've deployed and that 37 percent of them are affected, it's staggering. That's a sobering number of men and women who will need mental health care," said Jim Sardo, a psychologist who directs the PTSD and substance abuse clinics for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Portland. Researchers found that when other serious behavioral problems were included that the number rose to 43 percent.

The analysis of 290,000 soldiers who received VA health care between 2002 and 2008 was reported Thursday in the American Journal of Public Health.

Well would this be as big of a news story if they hadn't used the term "waterboarding"? I'd say no.

Waterboarding involves a sponge in the victim's mouth and being suspended on your back on a board while water is poured over you continuously so you constantly feel like you're drowning. Sure semantics but there is a pretty big distinction; too big to be unintentional.

2010-02-08 04:40:36 PM
I'm sure everyone that claims water boarding isn't torture would be willing to undergo a little water boarding, just to prove they believe what they say.

Right?
