Yeah the thing about 4chan is that as horrible as it is, at least it keeps a lot of that nonsense away from people. I can see how someone would see it and go "that shouldn't exist" but the fact is that behavior like that does exist whether you like it or not. Remember the last time there was a 4chan outage? Fark sucked for like 3 weeks, hopefully that won't happen again.

But seriously, /b/ is awesome. It's like that one bar, you know the one, where you never go but is always packed with people you don't ever wanna meet. It keep the freaks and teens amused and occasionally spawns cool stuff like rick rolls and lolcats.

Just to clarify this: a lot of what the "memes" mean is that people submit links to TFD saying things like "If the pokemons fought Jesus who would win guyzz?" and thinly veiled racist photoshops of things (although I have to admit the one I saw a few months ago with a picture of the VT shooter captioned "someone has a case of the Mondays" made me laugh). And Caturday is getting just a little old at this point.

Plus the Fark memes can hold their own, the "rainbow bright" one which just mentioning will probably result in my post getting deleted is a good example.

The one where the dude was posting pictures of his sister dressed as rainbow bright, not rainbow bright in general. It was amazing but I'm not getting into detail. Also, homeschooling was great, I forgot about that one. The 26 minutes guy. I'm pretty sure Romero was first scouted here, but I'm not sure on that one. Etc.

Okay, it stands apart from my original message: memes are only fun for the first thread, then they get old. I am getting off topic trying to list Fark ones because that isn't really Fark's strongest suit, which is why I like it the most. Fark usually has classic threads here and there that get referenced a lot, but never really hit true meme status. It's a lot more fun that way then just rehashing old jokes for the millionth time.
