During the 08 election, only something to the effect of a third of all Americans were polled as thinking she was qualified for the presidency. I'm more worried about some TeaBagger being whipped into a frenzy and shooting Obama when he wins a second term than I am about Palin getting the seat.

Why would the GOP run her? If they did it would guarantee an Obama re-election victory. I am certain they could find somebody better. Even if you don't look at her "qualifications" or problems therein, she is simply a polarizing candidate. The majority of the nation is not going to come together around her to win.

Well, being that she has Faux-News as her own corporate propaganda machine, that would be the only reason this could be scary. Beyond that, I think it's great. It guarantees an Obama reelection, but of course, dooms us all to the most horrible news cycle ever conceived by man.

Palin was FOR the bailouts. She specifically said the financial system HAD to be bailed out to protect Main Street America.

They talk about "jobs". The auto bailouts did protect jobs. While there's a lot of questions there, they don't do any questions. They have no arguments. They have no platform. Just people yelling "we pay too much taxes!" without any position on how much they'd like to pay and what government functions they want cut.
