Jeezus Christ. I'm sick of hearing about Katrina and how Drew Brees parted the waters and led them out of bondage and the desert. WE GET IT.

Must have missed that memo...

She needs to focus less on being semi hot and more on doing her job well.

Adolf Oliver Nipples: Mart Laar's beard shaver: Note to Saints fans:

You don't want to win this farking game. No way, no how.

See? I'm a fellow traveler. I'm a Broncos fan. One of my first memories is getting crushed by the Cowboys in the Super Bowl. The 49ers game was the first time I got drunk. I didn't leave bed for about 3 days (from alcohol poisoning and depression). By the time we played the Packers, I had facial tics anytime the Super Bowl was mentioned.

Then we won, and I cried like a little girl, and then we won again. We were awesome. I didn't cry.

And I really stopped caring. Every time the Broncos aren't in this game, I think to myself, "Oh, well, they'll just go home and polish their two trophies". Red Sox fans know this feeling. I haven't actually been to an NFL game since the Rams and Broncos played in St. Louis about 2000.

Don't win the game. Win it down the road, eventually. If you win today, you'll have a championship, and then you'll go from "special" (in the Obama Olympics way) to ordinary. I know of what I speak. And really, the fun is in the former. The bags on your heads, the umbrellas, and the "who dat".

Don't win. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Thus we clearly see the difference between Broncos and Steelers fans, because I'm still farking pissed that the Steelers didn't make it, and I'm absolutely livid that the jagoffs from Indy helped it to happen when the quit against the Jets.

No postseason apathy here, dude. Maybe in Denver, but not in Pennsylvania.

That may be influenced by the fact that there is more to do in the Rocky Mountains than which your state's infrastructure rust.

I have managed to avoid all the pre-game nonsense by letting my husband and a buddy play Borderlands all afternoon.

They have 15 minutes to finish it up and then the game goes on.

I call it the olympic affect. Producers figured out that human interest stories are necessary to pull in the casual fan. In 2 weeks we'll hear about the heroism of some American who stubbed his toe and then watch him get 30th place rather than the top athletes in Luge or whatever.

I think it's nice that they let Katie Couric do this. There need to be more positions for Hobbits in broadcasting.

Brown shoes with a black suit? Did he leave his only pair in Indy?

I think certain changes to the rules would make the big game much more entertaining. I posted this in a Photoshop contest last year:

I met Brees at a party 12 years ago when he was just some Purdue backup. I never saw this coming. Good for him.
