navarone54: homeoftheblues: dugitman: NFL network showed Manning walking into stadium. Describing his look/demeanor as "intense" would be an understatement.

My prediction based on absolutely nothing
Colts 35
Saints 27

Colts 31
Saints 17

Colts 38
Saints 31

I was hoping someone had a pic of mannings warface when he walked into the stadium.

/loved it

Wow, that was a pretty crass attempt to pass off advertising as pre-game content.

I'd just like to take the opportunity to thank those of you out there who are electing to sit around at home (or perhaps the home of a friend) today, affording me the perfect opportunity to get out into the slightly-less-crowded world to do some much-needed clothes shopping.

I don't care for the colts and definitely not Peyton Manning... but I don't see the Saints Defense being able to stop him. They couldn't stop the vikings (only the vikings could stop the vikings). I think it will be a high scoring game (over 57 total points) and the Saints will lose by 10 or more.

I'm a Giants fan. And I couldn't agree more. I'm glad he's in prison. The man is a thug.

Mart Laar's beard shaver: Note to Saints fans:

You don't want to win this farking game. No way, no how.

See? I'm a fellow traveler. I'm a Broncos fan. One of my first memories is getting crushed by the Cowboys in the Super Bowl. The 49ers game was the first time I got drunk. I didn't leave bed for about 3 days (from alcohol poisoning and depression). By the time we played the Packers, I had facial tics anytime the Super Bowl was mentioned.

Then we won, and I cried like a little girl, and then we won again. We were awesome. I didn't cry.

And I really stopped caring. Every time the Broncos aren't in this game, I think to myself, "Oh, well, they'll just go home and polish their two trophies". Red Sox fans know this feeling. I haven't actually been to an NFL game since the Rams and Broncos played in St. Louis about 2000.

Don't win the game. Win it down the road, eventually. If you win today, you'll have a championship, and then you'll go from "special" (in the Obama Olympics way) to ordinary. I know of what I speak. And really, the fun is in the former. The bags on your heads, the umbrellas, and the "who dat".

Don't win. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Thus we clearly see the difference between Broncos and Steelers fans, because I'm still farking pissed that the Steelers didn't make it, and I'm absolutely livid that the jagoffs from Indy helped it to happen when the quit against the Jets.

No postseason apathy here, dude. Maybe in Denver, but not in Pennsylvania.

Breaking out an Indiana beer for the Colts today. Three Floyds Milk Stout if you're wondering. And yeah, I know Munster is much closer to Chicago than Indy... but apparently those in NWI are more inclined to the Colts than the Bears anyway.
