Look, I've thought this through.

After the bunnies are gone, we send a bunch of TFettes there on an adoption drive.

The cats will be removed into caring and creepily-loving homes.

Can't say that it's a bad solution. They could consider introducing a predator population though.

Either way, cuisine for the locals and "children" for TFettes.

The only approved wallaby hunting gear are boomerangs and boxing gloves.

2010-02-01 01:10:58 PM
They could just farm them instead, rabbits produce more meat per ache then any other animal humans eat. They are also low in fat(very low). Or we could just bring in a species of cat to eat them. Then dogs to eat the cats, then Chinese to eat the dogs, then export the Chinese in the name ethic purity.

You still wake up sometimes, don't you? You wake up in the dark and hear the screaming of the bunnies.

Well, they do scream quite a bit when injured. We used to drive around at night when we were vicious little teenagers and take them out by the dozens. Oft wondered what people would think when they'd walk out on to their lawn in the morning to find the slaughter. I know it's horrible, but wtaching those things bounce around like a mexican jumping bean after taking a pellet was pretty funny.

"The females can breed at three months of age and are capable of delivering litters of eight six times a year."

They have got to kill all of the island bunnies. Even if they have to nuke them from orbit to keep them from leaving the island and infesting the jungles of Africa. In 20 years, the continent of Africa could be full of jungle bunnies.

FTA: "But while South Africa has an overabundance of the destitute, few seem accustomed to the taste of rabbit."

Apparently somebody's destitute apparently arent really destitute (or hungry) enough. If they were truly destitute they would welcome the meat. Rabbit isnt that much different tasting than dark meat chicken. Its not like its a weird tasting meat.

fta: The unwelcome rabbits of Robben Island will most likely re-enter the food chain during mealtimes at the nation's cheetah reserves.

They should just import some cheetahs. Duh.

Didn't work too well in Aus.

Hey, I've got an idea - build a fence across the continent. That will ensure no more rabbits on the island where Mandela spent so many days breaking rocks.
