For some reason I just imagine Arpaio as Buford T. Justice

Yes they're up to something Joe. It's called getting you out of office.

Folks have to understand, that Sheriff Joe works out of an office in the near by Wells Fargo building. He doesn't actually use the Sheriff's offices at the County seat because of security concerns. Yes, security concerns is the official reason. Apparently, the state and city are incapable of securing Joe's safety, so he has been forced to take a high rise office in a comfy building a few streets over, and have the floor damn near to himself--at the city's expense of course...

Why would a low-level public official need to keep his address a secret?

My county sheriff has his home address and number listed in the phone book.

What ever happened with the Arpaio deputy that was held in contempt of court for stealing documents from a public defender? Last I heard, he was being held by the Sheriff in some "undisclosed location" for his "safety" - i.e. fancy hotel.

Why do Liberal Progressives (a.k.a. Communist) hate America so much that they feel the need to single out law abiding American employee of the government (Joe Arpaio) with the chance of bodily harm from a fanatic????

I wouldn't be surprised if Bill Ayers (a personal close friend of Obama) rounded up his Klan to go over and fire bomb his house!!!!

I lived a few houses down from the Police Chief of my town. Nice guy- always out puttering in his front garden.

No one seemed to care where he lived. Probably because he wasn't a corrupt douchebag.

If only there were some sort of public office dedicated to protecting and serving the safety of the public.

I'm willing to bet your County Sheriff isn't embezzling quite as heavy, taking kickbacks in the millions, or cold rolling into neighborhoods arresting folks willy nilly, and with a few accidental deaths a year in holding cells either.

Sounds like your Sheriff is a pussy...

When people do this to abortion doctors, though, it's a horrible violation of privacy by religious fanatics.

Last I checked, abortion doctors aren't public servants paid by the taxpayers. When you work for the people, a lot of things that would normally be protected by privacy regulations actually becomes a matter of public record. It only seems to bother the corrupt douchebags.

Does this mean he's going to try to subpoena the IP's and names of everybody who has ever logged on to Facebook, like the time when people posted his docs on that local news site?

This Arpaio guy is basically the embodiment of conservative dreams for America. This what they seriously want for our country: police state rule by "tough" warlord-cops. Corruption is okay, because hey, authority figures need to live comfortably in order to show everyone else how "respected" they are. Just look at all the supportive comments on that article.

Yes, because most abortion doctors are public officials making a government salary, and a in a position of trust involving public safety.

No ... wait ... they aren't.

Gosh, the mantra of the amnesty movement has changed from "It's inevitable" to "It's Joe's fault".

Here's another tactic used against Joe Arpaio created by a "immigration advocate" named Elias Bermudez, a former mayor convicted of bribery charges and convicted of--get this--laundering drug money. I wonder how those drugs got into this country.

www.moonbattery.com

Please note the douchebag couldn't even spell Arpaio. Also, please note Bermudez isn't above using racist depictions of "his" people. Raza, I guess.

Oh and then there's this.

In April the Arizona State Bar filed a complaint against Bermudez (Immigrants without Borders) after previously being asked on multiple occasions to cease the unlawful practice of law.

Here is another tactic used to defend Arpaio by talking about someone completely different and never really addressing Arpaio, other than to compare him to a money launderer

Is it wrong that I want bad things to happen to Arpaio? For example, I think it'd be just awesome if he were indicted and put in his own jail, pink underwear and all. And make sure all the other inmates know who he is.

Joe Arpaio is safer in his living room than President Obama is in his home at:

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington D.C.

imprimere: No, I'm simply referring to lynch-mob mentality. It's OK some of the time... right?

No, it really isn't. Arpaio hasn't been found guilty in a court of law, and even if he had, posting directions to his house so people can go do whatever to it or him wouldn't be right.

Yes, he, to all appearances, is a complete jackbooted thug. It doesn't make vigilante 'justice' appropriate. But it's hard not to feel a little schaudenf--shaidenf--shaueduenfarkit, guilty pleasure/sadistic glee at a widely thought of 'villain' getting a little nervous.

There's an admitted brigade of MCSO employees posting from the Wells Fargo Tower that are paid to post supportive comments about the Sheriff. It's a well known fact at AZCentral.com and posters have been singled out as employees before. The supportive comments are nothing more than propaganda. A recent approval rating shows the Sheriff at 39%. I wouldn't put much stock in supportive comments concerning Joe.

Aren't property ownership rights public knowledge? So posting the address, assuming he owns the property, would basically just be a repost of a publicly available record? Please correct me if I am wrong.

/Certainly might be wrong.
