And I'm not sure if it's the norm, but the TSA agents at the JFK International terminal were extremely rude. Unfortunately when I go to Europe again this summer my connection is through there. I wish I could skip that airport.

I have yet to see any real evidence that supports these claims. For one, the job they do serves as little more than busywork to make people feel safer. It's all theatrics. As to the second point, is doing a great job at a service that is a whitewash and ultimately fails when it's needed most a great selling point? It's not that I care about inconveniencing people in the name of security, but there are much, much better ways of keeping air travel safe than the ridiculous charade called TSA.

I have been flying a lot recently and I really enjoy the TSA agents that come to the security line to check you out. They'll pretend to be having a conversation with you while staring directly into your eyes to see if you are nervous or shifty. Just funny.

CSB: I flew out to CA (from MD) to see my brother a couple of years ago and had multiple layovers going and coming and the thing that made me laugh was that all airports had the "don't leave your bags unattended" recording but in TX they added "or you'll be arrested" for it.
