That's incredible. The time it took to create the scenes.... the humor in there... not to mention the money involved. Impressive collection.

I see the first few shelves and I'm like "Eh, you could probably get that many on eBay."
They I saw there was a second bookshelf.
Then it went on...and on...

Meh. None of them are sealed in their original packages.

Mr Tumnus: Meh. None of them are sealed in their original packages.

That means they've probably been played with. That's good. They're toys.

THIS^ is just a small portion of my friend Matt's collection that he has on display at the toy store he owns.

Some YouTube footage of it.^ And yes, that is the Death Star blowing up a Borg Cube hanging from the ceiling. (His comment on the Star Wars vs. Star Trek arguement.)

He's also got life size replicas of R2D2, C3PO, and Yoda on display.

And subby, he is definitely not hurting in the "getting women" department.

Funny, my boyfriend just found his mint condition (with one small piece missing) Millennium Falcon model. Threadjack but anyone know how much that would sell for?

2010-01-30 03:26:40 PM
Honestly, the action figures never interested me. I do have three tackle boxes full of Star Wars Micro Machines, though.

Do you know how many different models of the Millennium Falcon exist?

My favorite mission in Star Wars Battlefields II is running around Endor and frying Ewoks. they scream when they fry! totally cool...

Nope but knowing Lucas probably a gazillion. This one is a 1978 edition but not in the box. :-/

I am so jealous... and I am a girl.
First thing you see when you walk in my house is a Vader painting over the fireplace. I have about a 1/4th of that collection. Met hubby on a Star Wars message board..

Those toys have probably already brought him more happiness than a woman ever could.

2010-01-30 05:45:16 PM
That's pretty neat and all, but looking at how they are all neatly arranged, I would be tempted to shoot rubber bands at them to see how many I could get to topple.

That's about what our one spare room looks like, except we have a life-size Han in Carbonite leaning on the corner. My BF has only about 1/4 of his collection on display, the rest is in storage because we have no room for it.

Almost as good as my girlfriend's Princess Leia thong collection.

He has what I think is a Robin Hood movie (Costner) playset as his Ewok village.

/Just like I did

Did you let him get the Han in Carbonite desk? (new window)

Bigger house I'd say. Hell, I still haven't put away the AT-AT from that Christmas tree; it's on my dresser. My girlfriend asks me every day when I'm going to put it away, but I say it was her idea to decorate the tree like that and it looks nice on the dresser. I have four stormtroopers inside it and General Veers and an AT-AT driver in the cockpit.
It's sad I know their names.

As soon as I saw the storm troopers on the riser, I thought the exact same thing

Meh. right now my dining room table has a bunch of Warmachine models on it, all in various stages of assembly.

Sorry, but if I had a bunch of thongs with pics of Princess Leia on them, I would feel a bit... odd.

However, wearing a thong underneath the slave "skirt", I can understand.
