Didn't Coolio get pissed at Wierd Al for doing a parody of it called "Omish Paradise"? Lawsuit comming.....

Rush had a funnier parody of this song with faux Gore as the lead singer. The CIA should have gotten the guy who does the parodies on Rush to do this--he's a professional.

This really sucks... I mean, I could come up with a better one... If I spoke Arabic. I know I could do a better one in English.

The really awful thing about it is that the BBC switched to crappy RealPlayer... They used to be all Quicktime.

2003-04-13 02:25:18 PM
That is ridiculous! Is that actually going to work?

Why are they torturing these poor people? Have they not been through enough?

Thats the least frelled up thing the BBC has done Cranialsodomy. Have you ran ad-aware lately? The BBC started using RedSherrif tracking software awhile ago.

2003-04-13 02:29:03 PM
Did someone say "Rush" and "funny" in the same sentence?

2003-04-13 02:29:08 PM
I noticed that too MomentOfPrayer. Seems they're going to use Iraq as the stepping stone to going to battle with the rest of the middle east.
Very bad idea.

Syria? I am curious to see what the right wing farkers use as justification. Oh wait, I just need to hear the Bushies speak and then I will know that the right wingers on fark will pretend that they have long believed such things about Syria.

BAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH bah bahh...

For those that didnt hear it:
The rap was ok, but it was horribly done. Imagine your dad getting ahold of a tape recorder and a few drunk friends.

I made a better song than this.

Saddam got no rhythm, Saddam got no rhyme.
Saddam got no system, Saddam got no time.

Saddam got no blame, he blames it on the name.
Hussein? that quite the same, as the insane game.
I don't need no oil, for my money
I need some foil and some pony
To escape away, and run
Like today, with an unloaded gun
Give me 40 acres and a mule
and maybe a sakkar and a tool

Saddam got no rhythm, Saddam got no rhyme.
Saddam got no system, Saddam got no time.

Saddam got no urges, nothing he wants to kill
Saddam gotta go purging, talking to Dr. Phil
Doing it for himself, he pushes to the brink
Put him on the shelf, drop him in a hot sink
I come from Tikrit, I go to Baghdad
Now I'm in shiiit and I'm quite mad
Uday? Qusay? where you at-ta?
Today is it Crazy? am I speaking pig latin?

Saddam wanna disappear, go to Argentina soon
Saddam not gonna disappear, gonna get shot to the moon

Saddam got no rhythm, Saddam got no rhyme.
Saddam got no system, Saddam got no time.

Saddam got no rhythm, Saddam got no rhyme.
Saddam got no system, Saddam got no time.

Saddam got a porno mustache and no real class
Now Satan will be doing him in the ass

So the only 3 lines in arabic are asking them to dance, "May God curse you" and "I say I have a big heart and I say goodbye to you"... Yeah im sure the Iraqis know whats going on ...

2003-04-13 02:53:16 PM
Tarvuz: That good I am waiting to see what you morons come up with to say why we "really are going after Syria". Or you guys going to go with the "it's all about the oil" diatribe again?.. Let me guess.. .Syria is going to be a Civil War, the _____ are going to rally up in support and millions of troops are going to come home in a body bag and we will have to draft people because this is going to be another Vietnam.

I love this song! I loved this song when they played it. I just dig using string instruments in modern songs. Thank you Stevie Wonder...

Untoaleannil

I agree 100%.
The Problem with Real Media/RealOne is this...

The free version 7, which I have, has options to disable the nasty adware, spyware, forced file associations, nasty little "thigee" in the system tray, etc. Unfortunately, it wont play the "latest" versions of the RM files.

I once got suckered in an d/loaded the "latest" version. It then kept asking me to "upgrade" by paying $19.99 every time i viewed a clip. It also changed all my file associations for media files, and wrecked any embeddind content that was NOT RM files (eg MPs). My system became unstable and crashed when I went to some web pages. I eventually had to reload win98 to be free of this curse.

I'd rather miss some of the media content on the web than get suckered into d/loading RealOne again. It's not worth the hassle.

I curse any of these whores that place these "latest version" realmedia content on their pages that RP7 won't play. How much does RealOne pay you to upgrade your files??? Is it worthwhile alientating some surfers??

I no longer want to be in psyops. That song is bizarre enough to be part of Japanese pop-culture.

Ain't nothing like a little Stevie Wonder on a Sunday afternoon...My dog ate both my vinyl copies of Songs in the Key of Life so I've got to hear it digital though.
