Didn't some GOP lawmakers sponsor a bill on the floor of the House of Representatives honoring this idiot? Didn't it have like 30 co-sponsors?

I smell an ad buy!

You criticize the millions (if not billions) that Halliburton/KBR fraudulently took from the government, killed soldiers with slipshod construction and practices, and you're a wingnut.

You expose a community group that improves access to voter registration, get pocket change from the government, and you get a Congressional resolution for recognition.

Enjoy the ride sweetie. It's going to be a lonely one. You just learned the golden rule of Republican politics: it's only a crime if you get caught.

Pretty weak rule. Ensign, Sanford, Coburn, DeMint...apparently being part of The Family gives you a lifetime get out of jail free card.

Illegal wiretapping?
Willing to break the law to "stick it to the other team"?
Doesn't take responsibility for his actions?
Insists that punishment for his actions are merely liberal persecution of a true conservative?

Sounds to me like he perfectly represents the Republican Party.

Since he pretty much championed this kid, I listened to Glenn Beck this morning to see how (or if) he would treat the story.

Surprisingly he addressed it - for all of about 35 seconds.

Naturally, he started obliquely implying a conspiracy. But I don't think even Glenn had it in him and ultimately he pretty much just threw the poor guy under the bus.

Which makes sense, if you think about it. Beck no longer needs him. We won't be hearing about him ever again.

Yeah. Jimmy's screwed.

Dirty tricks like this happen all the time in politics. The democrats, and particularly ONE democrat staffer working for the Democrat Senate Campaign Committee, are still the only party to have someone arrested and convicted for stealing an opposition candidate's credit report.

This was a politically motivated arrest and a complete setup by the senator in question. The dems can't stand that he exposed the corruption they project over to the gop as cover for their own nefarious behavior. It just goes to Show You that the reason nothing has changed from Bush to Obama is because they are both liberals who like to throw our military around to make themselves look tough. Too bad Biden can't be the guiding hand that we need in a VP.

Is there some reason that you are overly concerned with American politics, Canuck?

Look, it's real sad that your country doesn't matter in the world. I understand that you feel inferior. But, I really think you should spend a little more time worrying about your own little piece of shiat country, and a little less time worrying about the political parties of the United States of America.

Thank you for your concern, but we have it handled here. Feel free to fark off.
