Bill Gates needs to get into Politics and run for some sort of office.

Love him or hate him, it's hard to deny his genius and the inherent difficulty of paying him off. If he ran his show the way he ran his company I think you'd see a lot of positive change.

There's also more to being POTUS than giving a great speech, being very smart, being knowledgeable about constitutional law, and being intellectually curious, but Barack Obama has staff and close advisers to fill in the gaps.

Bill Gates will have people to fill in the gaps. I also feel that his priorities - technology and education - are similar to my own. A Bill Gates presidency could precipitate a great leap forward for how our government uses technology to save time and money while doing better work. He could steer the U.S. back to proper funding for math and science education.

Obviously, I'm doing some speculation here, but a good Bill Gates presidency would be great for this country.

Also, if anyone runs attack ads, we can respond by telling those folks to stop beating up on the special kid.

While I can't disagree there, I think that type of progress can be achieved without needing to be elected POTUS. A cabinet position, perhaps, but given his Autistic / Asberger tendencies, but putting him in charge of foreign policy and diplomacy would be frightening.

It is also not really in the power of any of those folks to completely change the budget. There are 535 people in Congress and a massive upsetting of the budget will cause it to NOT PASS.

"Basically paying no taxes by comparison" is an absolute misstatement. Wall Street bankers, along with other 'rich', pay the vast majority of taxes in this country.

They foot the bill for everyone else and every social program that you enjoy. You may not like them, they may be assholes, but there is no disputing the truth of this statement.

Gates is correct, but in addition to raising Taxes the US government also has to cut it's budget in half by eliminating useless and wasteful spending.
