Damn, I should have used this excuse for my botched perm. "No, really officer, he attacked me with small curlers!"

They should have run a picture of her. I would like to see how badly she botched the dye job.

TheGrayCat, serves you right for getting a perm =]

Her family alerted police, but when police questioned the girl, many of her statements were reportedly unnatural, and Metropolitan Police Department investigators later found out that she had made up the story.

Hmm.... unnatural statements.

You're right, Savian. It's bad enough that I looked like I had a fright wig on, but that smell just does NOT go away.

"Police subsequently handed her a severe reprimand."

This article left out the most important element. Did she do the rug to match the curtains?

About 7 years ago I accidentally dyed my hair purple. (actually, it was my mother's fault, but hey, who's laying blame?)

I thought it was fun, and had no need to make up a story.
And if I did, it would have been a whole lot better than this chick's.

I haven't tried the "a stranger attacked me with hairdye", but I have tried the "a stranger attacked me with blue eyeshadow".

Didn't work for me either.

I could not get it show up should have turned my HTML off.

a story worthy of our attention.

Have you always lived in Charlotte? I'm related to some of the Cowles family from NC.

On a more-related topic, I once threatened to sue a hair stylist for messing up my hair dye.

So sad... her hair died... :(
2003-04-10 10:46:23 AM
Investigators said the girl had died her hair the previous day, but because she didn't like the color she put a different color in her hair, which reacted and gave her a rash. (Compiled from wire stories, April 10, 2003)
2003-04-10 10:46:28 AM
"Her family alerted police, but when police questioned the girl, many of her statements were reportedly unnatural..."

You mean it's not normal to say someone came and randomly poured hair dye on my head?

JohnyontheSpot, use instead of [] or {}, those two don't work. Good luck.

Anyway, we really need a pic of this girl. My sister once dyed her hair and farked it up really bad. It was really amusing. It was actually breaking off at the scalp. She tried to blame it on her friend who dyed her hair, then on the hair dye, then on me (even though I wasn't home). In the end, she caught hell from mom for having multi-colored hair that was slowly falling out. Hehehehe, funny shiznit.

2003-04-10 10:53:15 AM
Maybe she's related to Lori, from the Real World Back to NY? She had to wear a wig, because she messed up her hair, too. How sad that I know all of this...

Nothing like lying to cover up a lie, getting found out, then seeing yourself on fark with a Japan tag, mixed together with the other bag of Japanese genius teachers exposing themselves taping girls getting buck, etc. You've made it, honey. Too bad you weren't old enough to get your name thrown in there.
