Africa is a continent, with more "peoples" and languages than the entire rest of the world combined. Holy tree sausages, batman, I'm a blasted African and I never in my life harvested such a thing.

The sausage tree is a South African plant.

The first time I went to visit my daughter when she was a freshman at the University of Hawaii@Manoa we walked past several of these trees on the campus. She knew I would get a kick out of them.
