I was going to respond, but I see the KO punch has already landed. I'm sorry if you can't have fun playing a game that almost every single person I've ever seen try it enjoys... "real" musicians (like me) or not.

I play in a band and I play rock band for fun. They are two separate things, kind of like you and a person with brains. It's a freakin game, it shouldn't be comparable.

I am a musician, and play RB with my musician friends.

To me he just sounds like some dick who is jaded because he does not have a game console, and is trying to somehow appear better than everyone who does.

It's not as if playing an instrument (especially the guitar) makes a person special. I get really disgusted by people who have a superior opinion of themselves because they can play an instrument. Guitar players, and most types of rock musicians for that matter, are a dime a dozen.
