how do the fireplaces, saunas and hot tubs not melt the ice? if i were in a room, i'd have that fireplace cooking so hard the room would be melted by morning.

Speaking of sprinkles, have you ever wondered how they clean the bedrooms, etc.? in some of these hotels, even the bed is made of ice. Yuck...

I would assume they use a chisel & scraper, and maybe a bucket of warm water. They prolly finish up by re-casting & freezing any terribly melted spots.
