What was the next question from the Superintendent regarding a 13 year old girl?

"Carpet or hardwood floors?"

What a douche

Well.....was she?

Still, the district filed a complaint against Schwalb. Detective Sgt. Joseph Rinke, who also sits on the school board, filed the report. School officials said the meeting wasn't the place for Schwalb to express her concerns.

Luongo said, "Parents should be smarter than that."fark every single one of these ignorant motherfarkers.

Look, if you are charged with overseeing my child for 8 hours of the day, then you damn well better believe that I will express my concerns whenever you fail to take appropriate action in a situation. I'm not waiting for the bi-annual district educational conference meeting, where I will be given 30 seconds to express me concerns, and my concerns must be approved in writing no less than 60 days before the meeting. Fark that. I will come to your office and tell like I see it right then.

i must be missing something here.

where's the father?

cause i gotta figure, if the mother made this big of a deal of this to go down to the meeting in the first place, then she sure as hell was squawking about it for hours, if not days at home. and sooner or later she woulda muttered something to the effect of "somebody outta go teach that boy a lesson about putting his hands on my baby" or some shiat, in which due time we'd see a headline about a 40 year old man beating a 14 year old.

but that isn't what happened.

in the end, i think we can all agree, it took place in New Jersey, and they aren't really human there anyways....so why sweat it.

Same thought here but in this case it's not completely relevant. That being said, had this been my daughter, a good cussing would have been the least of anyone's worries.

Isn't it great when stories leave out crucial information?

What happened at the time of the incident, to either party involved? Was there any discipline at all? Did this mother just think that not enough was done? What sort of effect was she looking for?

We never got an answer to that thong question, either.

Cindy Schwalb says a boy pulled down her 13-year-old daughter's sweatpants in front of other students at Hasbrouck Heights Middle School.

Sweatpants?! There's only two types of people that wear sweatpants to school: whores and tards. Either way it's justifiable on the boy's part.

the video clip on the page said it happened during gym class, hence the sweatpants.

While Schwalb and her husband, Robert, say the consequences for the boy were adequate, they have accused the district of failing to take steps to prevent similar incidents from occurring.

damn....i was fishing for some daddy issues as the catalyst for this whole mess. so much for that.

Tresser: where's the father?

Home with the daughter? My wife and I usually don't go to parent-teacher things together as someone has to stay home to watch the children unless we want to hire a babysitter. And, if it were my daughter, I'd probably send my wife as I inherited my grandfather's mouth and might have suggested something libelous about the superintendent and his interest in teenagers' underwear.

So, someone got pantsed in gym class? And i'm supposed to be outraged? At least they werent having sex in the hallway/locker room, doing drugs on campus, or a myriad of other more outrage-worthy acts.

Kids do stupid things as kids, me included. A high school friend of mine got pants in public in front of all the departing school buses by his fellow cross-country team mates. This left him with only his T-shirt, shoes and socks, and jockstrap on.

While I thought the mother's complaining to the school board was more on the helicopter parent move, the thong question probably wasn't a bright comment. The board member should have realized he was in a "delicate" situation with an outraged mom of a 13-year-old girl.

/Anyone found out if she was wearing a thong yet?

Jesus farking snowflake. So middle-school boy pulls down pants on middle-school girls and then hi-fives other middle-school boys. Boy gets in significant trouble, and mother goes to a school board meeting to curse out everyone?

First off, if that comment in The Bergen Record who said "kid should have been charged with criminal sexual contact on a juvenile complaint and suspended from school, and sent for mandatory psychiatric counseling" wasn't joking, he's a farkwit who needs to understand that we should stop destroying the lives of young teenagers for minor misconduct.

Second, how exactly does the mother propose the board "take steps to prevent similar incidents from occurring"? Completely isolate boys from girls at all times?

And honestly, why not talk to the teacher and the principal before you go ape-shiat on the school board. If anyone knows the least about a school, it's probably the school board.

lastly is the daughter hot?

Agreed

Did anyone notice that it was the superintendent who asked the question but the principal she cursed out? Later?

While the thong question was highly inappropriate, I suspect the mother wanted to take over the meeting with her precious snowflake's issue and when it wasn't given the attention she wanted, she got upset. It's one thing to bring it up, but at some point, if you want to spend a while discussing it, you have to realize that you're in a public meeting and personal concerns need to be taken to a private meeting if you want in depth discussion. Is an appointment with the principal not the normal course for dealing with these sorts of problems? I'm not a parent, so I don't know, but seems like showing up at a school board meeting and haranguing people is more AW behaviour than actual concern for your child.

IMHO, overreaction by the school board (unless there is more to the story than we are being told), totally inappropriate question and an AW mother who thinks she has a precious snowflake.

Everyone should be shot.

To be fair if the school took the incidents more seriously when boys did it to other boys, the boys may have had a clue it was wrong when their gym classes went coed.

I went to an all boys Catholic school in the mid 1980s.

We did ALL KINDS of stupid stuff, and lots of involved pantsing kids or other acts of depravity and nudity. Usually the priests and Dean would look the other way, or you would get detention. Rarely if ever were parents involved.

The ONE time that I can remember was when some kid put LSD in another kid's lunch, and the kid started tripping. Parents were called in that case.

If you're a parent and you *don't* throw a fit when some pervert (who is in a position of authority over children) makes a comment about your 13 year old daughter's underwear, you've failed.

Define "throw a fit"

I think if it is a "WTF is your problem you pervered arsehole!" That should be perfectly acceptable.

If she said, "I'm gonna a kill you and your kids!" That's a different story.
