Propaganda Panda: What is up with the ridiculousness of this thread? Like this gem:

Lorelle: A one-day suspension & forced attendance of a sensitivity class doesn't make up for causing someone extreme humiliation.

The only appropriate punishment for the little brat who did it is to have him pantsed in front of the entire school.

None of you know the entire story. Not a single one of you. Yet most of you seem all too pleased with yourselves to pass ridiculous judgments on all parties involved.

Grow up.

Which is what you are doing right now. All good. Way to fail.

Inibrius: junket89: Not too long ago a boy at my daughter's school was going around grabbing girls' butts. When i found out i didn't fire up my parent helicopter. Instead i told her to punch him. In the face. I told her that if you break his nose two things will happen: 1) he'll leave you alone and will think twice about his activities, and 2) everyone else will think she's a bad ass motherfarker. I'm willing to foot the bill for my daughter standing up for herself.

Yep. When mine gets a little older (she's 2) she's gonna learn the fine art of the groin kick.

Feral, the problem is that some people think they only have to respect their own boundaries and values, and are offended that others do not agree with them. The ideal is that we learn to respect the other person boundaries, even if they are different than our own. Some people cannot allow others to make such choices for themselves and think they have the right to impose their will on others.

Bottom line: it is wrong to take another person's clothes off without his or her consent (or implied consent in some limited cases). It is wrong to encourage other people to do so, or to congratulate another for doing so. But bullies run in packs. Of course they turn on you with person insults and high-five each other. That's how they reinforce the idea it is manly to hurt other people.

Salt Lick Steady: Jesus christ, the supporters of this parent in this thread suck the proverbial scrotum.

Here's what happened: An already unpopular girl got pants in gym class, and she happened to not be wearing underwear. The student who pants her was strongly punished.

The girl's triple embarrassment, however, is somewhat of an embarrassment to her mom as well. She storms into a school board meeting without announcing her intention to make this an issue (read: embarrass her daughter further). When she stands up to speak at the meeting, she's told her comment would best be dealt with privately, yet she starts to yell and carry on about her daughter being 'sexually violated.' The school board members get fed up and start entertaining her shouts for attention with relevant questions.

Step 2: Contact local Fox station

You know step 3.

Care to clue us in on the tab to the RIGHT of your internet browser? I hope that was either just for the lulz or is a humorously truncated headline of some sort.

It looks like it says "how to attract old chicks"

This thread just took a turn for the Freudian.

Yeah, he hasn't responded yet. If it were me, I'd argue that I was reading the article about Carnival rejecting the "cougar cruisers", and so I googled "cougars and cubs" and one of the links was "how to pick up old chicks" and I was fascinated and repelled but I just had to click, like it was a Gorgor link or something.

I don't EVER post screencaps for this reason. I really don't want people to see my OCD desktop, with my porn arranged neatly in rows of folders, by kink beginning at the top (hair fetish), and going to the bottom (dirty feet fetish), and within folders, subfolders arranging them by type (pic, movie, anigif) and by estimated age of the model, then by hair color and number of visible tattoos.

I very much hope I didn't type that out loud.

Yeah dude - where'd he go?

And that is why I use Firefox for browsing, and if I need a screencap I fire up Safari. No telltale bookmarks or tabs or anything. Safety first, my friends.

/How DO you attract old chicks? He must have done some digging, bc it's not on the first page of search results (which are, btw, ...interesting).

I want that man fired or deboarded or whatever happens to school board members.

A bullying seminar is exactly where a parent has a right to go and talk about a specific incident of bullying and suggest or just request efforts to find a way to prevent a similar bully attack.

Was she wearing a thong? How come the board member can't stop at a teen girl was humiliated and exposed in front of her peers, and that's bad? A teenager might have any or no underwear on - that's kind of the point, though, that no one is supposed to find out.

If the mother had any wit about her that's what she would have said.

But the ghastly, disgusting attempt to humiliate mom and daughter can't be acceptable to anyone, and if it is and you work with tweenagers you ought to be fired too.

But Schools Superintendent Joseph Luongo said the district has no choice but to pursue the charges. Schwalb, he said, should have gone directly to him if she had a problem on back-to-school night.

"If we allow people to come and curse out our principal...that's disorderly conduct," Luongo said. "Any common-sense law will tell you that's disturbing the peace."

Is this some generational thing? I'm 42 and I never in all my school years ever saw a boy try and depants a female. In fact any guy that tried it probably would have gotten beat up by the nearest group of boys rather than high-fived for it. In this supposedly PC day and age, how has it become a big deal what kind of underwear a girls wears but not a big deal for a male to forcibly pull a females clothing off?

The guys on this thread acting like it's no big deal are either trolls or totally pathetic human beings.

I agree with Dr. Funkenstein. Everyone involved (except for the teenage girl) sounds like a colossal asshole. They should all serve a couple days in jail, in the same cell. With a backed-up toilet. And no working lights. And no heat. And maybe some roaches crawling around. And one of those douchebags from "Jersey Shore."

Al!: So, if I read this thread correctly:

1. If you wear sweatpants to school, you are either promiscuous or mentally deficient.
2. If you wear sweatpants to school it is ok for people to pull them off of you, since you asked for it by being either promiscuous or mentally deficient.
3. It is ok to scream vulgar insults at someone, as long as they deserve it.
3a. They deserve it if you think they do.
3b. School Board members always deserve it.
4. School Board members who are also police officers should be fired for abuse of power, especially if they charge you with a crime you committed in front of numerous witnesses.
5. It is not the principals business if your 13 year old daughter is wearing a thong, but it is ok to talk about it on the internet and television.
6. School levied discipline is never enough. Only threats of violence and vulgarity will bring justice.
7. 13 years old is too old for some people.
7a. Some people are offended by these people.

I may have missed some important lessons here. Please, feel free to add them in for the betterment of our entire society.

lendog: WTF? Thirteen year old's wearing thongs? Gross and perverted.

Let me fill you in on a secret: Most of us females (including 13 year olds) wear thongs not because they are sexy but because they don't show panty lines. With certain types of clothing you either have to wear a thong or wear nothing at all.

Which would you rather have your 13 year old wearing (or not wearing)?

tweek46420: Aunt Crabby: RminusQ: So middle-school boy pulls down pants on middle-school girls and then hi-fives other middle-school boys.

That is not minor misconduct. I do not know why boys think "pantsing" one another is acceptable, but a boy pantsing a girl by that age is a different matter. What happen to the one boy was enough of a consequence for a first offense, but what happen to those who high-fived him? What part of the anti-bullying program addressed sexual bullying? She was probably upset because she was told the program would address the general problem, but it did not.

/Mom went about it the wrong way, agreed
//Still, it is serious

what an appropriate name you have

really is it that big of a deal.....OMG someone saw my underwear ITS THE END OF THE FARKING WORLD, the boy should be labeled a sexual offender and put on the sex offender list and chemically castrated as with anyone who "high-fived" him

Well, here's the thing. I'm a girl, and it's happened to me--granted they were friends of mine. It happened a lot (usually in gym class as sweats weren't allowed to be worn to school). Girls did it to girls, and boys did it to boys...with a little mixing. Generally, nobody made a big deal about it and it was pretty funny--and we all know kids tend not to think a whole lot before they do something.

Anyway, I can, however, see the outrage if the girl wasn't wearing any underwear, was wearing "period panties", or the panties were ripped down with the pants. Imagine if they had seen everything...hair or not? pimple on butt? tampon string?? etc. Or what if someone pulled down a guys pants and everyone (including the girls) saw the size of your penis. It would be pretty embarassing. That's why most of time, the sexes didn't comingle the pantsing. There were too many "ifs."

So yeah, depending on the circumstances and what was exposed, I think both reactions are pretty normal. Although I feel really bad for the girl--first she gets pantsed and now she's prob utterly huniliated by the mother. It's really a no-win situation.

It depends on the state and the conditions. Sometimes children need to be in earshot, usually it results in a fine. Depending on the volume she could have been disturbing the peace. Depending on what the cursing was she could have been threatening him. Etc, etc.

It was a valid question and the mother overreacted. The Superintendent needed to know what the exposure was both legally and literally. If her snatch was showing it could have been perceived as a sexual assault instead of a simple misdemeanor assault.

Actually all it means is "That was a funny joke, and I am leaving work from home."

Comprehension continues to elude you, is English not your first language?

lendog: kabloink: lendog: WTF? Thirteen year old's wearing thongs? Gross and perverted.

You wouldn't say that if you were a 13 year old boy.

But I am the father of a 14 y/o and there is no way in hell I am buying her a thong. Ain't going to happen.

But she probably bought her own

danae00: tweek46420: you are assuming this was done for sexual stimulation or gratification or something......what if (and this may be a stretch) it was done just to embarrass the girl and nothing, I'm a guy and got "pantsed"(SP?) in school and I can assure you it was not sexual it was just some stupid ass kids being asshole stupid ass kids....now granted I am a male but really?

It really doesn't matter what his intentions were. The impact on the girl is likely the same. Something seemingly so minor like this can really have long reaching consequences.

Let's put it this way for the guys in the room: Doing stupid stuff like this to girls causes them to mistrust men. Therefore they will be less likely to hop into bed with guys in the future. So by supporting this and other "pranks" all you are doing is reducing the number of women who one day may want to sleep with you. So for your own sakes, smack boys like this upside the head!

well now that you put it that way....where is my pitchfork and torch :P

I am not saying that I would of done this when I was a kid and for sure would not pants a female now.

I guess being a male I can only look at from my point of view, thinking that it is just a moments of embarrassment...life goes on...Venus/Mars you know

I guess after reading this that I've realized that Brian Messick was a sexual predator when he pulled my gym pants down in front of the entire co-ed P.E. class when I was 13 in 1974.

/I must have been suppressing this all along.
//he always was the first and last boy out of the showers. hmmmm.
///if my parents weren't dead, I'd demand they go and scream at someone.
