/what a $1.99 boob job might look like

Looks like the price explains the extended implant scar.

Yet, seeing it for the first time now, I'm also getting some sort of weird $1.99 penis piercing vibe.

Yeah, that is brilliant, really easy to understand, it looks like a thumb-tack and it looks like an ass, it is just like sarcasm. That will really catch on with the internet kids.S

How about ᶅ?

2010-01-13 04:18:59 AM
I read an article like a year ago where an early internet creator suggested years ago that like :-) should be like a punctuation for a online joke.

2010-01-13 04:19:38 AM
What's the point of sarcasm if it's explicit?S

/besides, questions can be sarcastic too.

Wish I had though of it. 125K global morons = 1/4 million dollars.

2010-01-13 04:41:56 AM
WOW! There's nothing more useful than a punctuation mark that you have to pay $2 to use and have to explain the meaning of every time you use it! S

Registrar: Looks like a (hot)

Maybe we should use this new symbol to indicate a pregnant pause.

This is a "really" unique idea.

2010-01-13 04:50:10 AM
That's gonna be a huge hit

There's zero point to sarcasm if you use a "sarcasm mark".

2010-01-13 04:53:45 AM
I'm laying 10:1 odds that this is actually the product of a bunch of snarky developers, and they're as surprised as anyone that people are buying it.

It's not so bad. I see worse damage on the Politics tab here every day.

I greatly value the confusion that arises when sarcasm is typed by not understood. It really makes internet commentating worth doing. I foresee sites like fark rallying against a uniform sarcasm symbol because it'll cut comment totals by at least 1/3.

I am not in the least bit surprised that this idea comes out of Michigan.

We are some miserable, sarcastic bastards.

Not needed on Fark, because everything we say is sarcasm, right?

2010-01-13 05:20:56 AM
How about an "Irony" mark, and a spell check feature so it can only be used when something is truly ironic?

2010-01-13 05:20:56 AM
What's next, a snark mark?

Type40: I will buy this, then I will hug some snakes, I will hug and kiss some poisonous snakes.

Funny. No, I mean it. I really thought it was funny. Seriously, I enjoy the Simpsons reference.
