Why would you have to go to the tree house to do that? Isn't that far more suspicious than if you bring it to the bathroom or something? Either way, if he needs the phone, it's not where he left it and you're busted, whether you're in the bathroom (attic, basement, whatever) or the treehouse.

A Swedish wife who reckoned her son's treehouse was the best place to check hubby's mobe for evidence he'd been playing away had to be freed by police from the elevated bolt-hole

I've said it before and I'll say it again: You gotta watch out for the bolt-hole cops.
