In the dense forests of the Pacific Northwest dwells the strange and beautiful creature known as Bigfoot, perhaps.

Sadly, logging and human settlement today threaten what might possibly be his habitat. Although if it's not, they don't. Bigfoot populations require vast amounts of land to remain elusive in. hey typically dwell just behind rocks but are also sometimes playful, bounding into thick fogs and out-of-focus areas.

Remember, it's up to us. Bigfoot is a crucial part of the ecosystem, if he exists. So let's all help keep Bigfoot possibly alive for future generations to enjoy unless he doesn't exist. The end.

When I was in college, there was this cross-dressing "art student" dude who once tied himself to a tree with dental floss. He stayed there for hours, a dude in a low-cut dress, just screaming unintelligibly and foaming at the mouth as people walked by on their way to classes. It was really awe-inspiring.

Well look, see, there's an artist dressed as sasquatch in the state park,
And apparently the parks department has never seen a situation quite this stark.
Hear the people complaining to the parks manager,
"Get that ape thing out of this park."

What about Chewbacca? Can I dress up as Chewbacca and go tramping around in state parks?

Why Would I Read the Article: Maud Dib: What a Bigfoot might look like.

I've never had Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Ale, but even if it's 20 times as good as their regular pale ale, it's still going to be disgusting sewage.

/ Has no idea why SN is so popular. Worst. Beer. Evar.

Umm, yeah, it's one of the best selling microbreweries out there, so your argument is invalid.
And my hair is a bird.

Oh, it was for the sake of "art" in both cases. That's the connection.

doubled99: The ads are mildly amusing, but what the fark does Bigfoot have to do with beef jerky?

/just wondering

You should go to the website and see the ads before they are censored for TV. The best one is where the guy puts the hand of sasquatch in some warm water and proceeds to piss a hard stream right in the guy's face. In the TV version you just hear some piddling as if he did it on himself. I'm at work behind a firewall or I would go and find a URL for you. They are right on the jerky website someplace.

Yeah, just don't mess with Dr. David Bruce Banner when you are pretending to be bigfoot as a very lame joke.

I have the releases from 2003,04, 05, 06, 07, 08, and 09 in my beer fridge.
I will turn 50 next year. To celebrate, I'm going to sit down and drink them all.
It'll probably kill me.

Running around the woods in a bigfoot costume around here is a good way to get yourself shot. Bubba loves them bigfeet burgers. New Hampshire must be all pussified, running low on Bubba's.

NH is getting pussified, by all the nanny state massholes constantly migrating north. I cant think of any reason they would need a permit for something like this- it is NH, live free or die. The ranger must be an import, or some super hippie liberal bastard. If they were video taping or taking photos, then they better make every damn tourist who goes into the park with a camera get a permit.

"A separate hearing into whether the money taken can and will be repaid will take place later this month"

Huh? You have to repay the money and go to jail? I'm not a criminal, so i dont know how it works, but i thought that if you committed a crime, and went to jail, i was paying my debt to society. Like, if i intentionally crash my car into a mailbox, i go to jail, but i didnt think they would expect me to pay cash for the mailbox once i got out.

A few unofficial but well-traveled hiking trails to the mountain and state park go right across my land. Snowmobile trails, too. They can perform their "art" on my land if they want. They'd have to wear orange hats or vests, though.

I, for one would do all of this just for the opportunity to go in front of a Judge, admit that "Yes, I am guilty of impersonation of Bigfoot" all the while trying to keep a straight face......and failing.

Debt to society does not equal restitution to the property owner. Look at OJ Simpson's original criminal trial. He wasn't found guilty. The civil case? He paid through the nose. What about the guys that're paying child support when the courts acknowledge they're not the father?

The judge says you're paying, you're paying, generally speaking.

You kids are on the wrong playground. This is "Bigfoot" not "Big Ass Bride".
Let's not turn this into a Bride of Bigfoot thread.
