The funniest news clip I ever saw was of a female anchor (talking about snow) saying to her male co-worker, "So Bob, where's those eight inches you promised me last night?" It was from about 7 or 8 years ago and I think it was pulled before multiple copies could be made, because even Snopes says it never existed. But I saw it, SO IT DID.

This winter has been very cold and snowy. I moved to the Chicago area from Wisconsin about 15 years ago. Most of the winters have been of the freeze and thaw variety. This one, though, seems determined to kick my ass...

Ah, c'mon...snow makes it look pretty rather than it just being cold. Some of the winters here recently have been cold and relatively snowless, which is depressing.

It's 6 to 12 inches now.

I live about 60 miles west and they're saying 6-12 inches out here as well.

When you're a kid and can play in snow, it's awesome. This one time we were out sledding on the golf course and this kid Shawn totally tried to sled across the ice and broke through. We saved him and all, but not before he froze some brain cells or shiat. I don't know what the hell happened or what, but brain damage made that dude smarter. He went to college and grad school and all that crap after that and I'd swear that dude was farking retarded in high school before the accident. Anyhow, he moved back to town and opened a book store and smoked a pipe and played chess with old people on the sidewalk and shiat. Anyhow, Superbowl Sunday a couple years back he's walking down the street and he's smoking his pipe and being all PBS preppie and that dipshiat tripped on some refrozen snow on the sidewalk, choked on that farking pipe and cracked his head on a fire hydrant. Anyhow, he's back to being more retarded than before, and if he can think of anything other than "Jesus farking CHRIST please don't let me drown in my drool," I'm guessing he thinks about how much snow sucks balls when you're old.

I didn't see it, but I know a guy who knew someone who went on a class trip to Turkey and one of the girls on the trip disappeared and then they saw her clothes for sale in a Turkish bazaar, I swear to god. But the guy I know didn't see the snow thing, either.
