That is the Dana Bowman video. Neither guy 'turns into a cloud of blood', but the debris cloud is amazing. The other diver was knocked out, and his automatic actuation device was destroyed in the collision so he never opened his chute.

btw- I have met Kittenger in person and he is an interesting guy. He also ejected from two aircraft, and was a POW in 'Nam for several years after one of the ejections.
