Also: This is gosh-darn dog. I was embarrassed for all caninity yesterday by that video with the goose hectoring the dog on the boat while the dog curled up in a ball of fail.

Shame about the cat being killed--I always hate when that happens, but in cases like this there's nothing to be done about it.

What a dog though. I've had one dog in my life that I'm sure would have done that for me. Miss him something fierce.

Although this played itself out pretty much like it should have, I was still a little sad to see the cougar dead. Oh, well, can't have cougars thinking 11-year-olds are snacking materials. Kitty should have gone looking for some snowshoe hares or something without guardian animals and firearms available.

That said, good dog. That's the fark why dogs and humans joined forces.

I know, it was really really windy up there. The shot I took a second before, was him with his head down and pulled in, sort of hunkered down in on himself. I tried to shoot between 60mph gusts, and that's what I got.
