Its cable you're allowed to cuss & I don't think too many people who be upset at that would be watching CNN's The Gay & the Hag New Years special.

What's the big deal? AC says "Teabaggers" all the time...what's the diff?

2010-01-02 04:58:41 PM
That would require someone to be watching CNN in the first place.

...or giving a shiat what a washed-up dbag like Kathy Griffin has to say.

Americans get WAYYYY too worked up about the F-word. It's just a word, people. It will not warp your kids for life. It's a part of our language. Our English ancestors made it up. It's not worth throwing a hissy fit when you hear it.

Kathy Griffin is not only beautiful but a wonderful person as well. She makes the world a better place.

Kathy Griffin is the living embodiment a vulgar quip.

Why is this shrieking harpy getting any airtime whatsoever? She's so far from the realm of funny that the light from funny won't reach her for two million years, yet there she is, invading my line of sight.

And, Epsilon speaks the truth here: we're all way, WAY to pussified over language these days. These uber-Christian fundamentalist Republican nutjobs hear that word and you can hear their gasps of shock from miles away. Listen, putzes...your precious little God-fearing snowflakes are hearing and, most likely, saying a lot worse at school and other places you don't have 100% control over them, so sit back with your Bibles and return to your fantasy world where words like those actually have any farking relevance whatsoever.

the only moral indignation is that this worthless coont is somehow breathing, much less being put out there as 'entertainment'.

I love her. Anything she does to make Anderson squirm is awesome. She wants to hit it, she was just flirting. Last year I noticed Anderson wasn't wearing his wedding ring when they were together. I think he wants it. And she wouldn't be nice. She'd fark him silly and leave him wanting more. He's naughty, she'll bring it out.

See, that's why I'm teaching my toddler to talk like Samuel L. Jackson.

Well, not really, but she's picking up anyway. Example : drops a block and says "shiat." in a disgusted tone. Doesn't matter, we're Canadians. Newfoundland even.

Kathy Griffin is a foul-mouthed, washed-up, surgically-reconstructed old hag who wasn't funny 15 years ago. I'm assuming this "controversy" is a way to marginally increase her popularity. "Oh no, she said fark! Let's watch her some more and see what other controversial things she says". I'll give you a hint, it's gonna be about Someone's questionable sexual orientation, vaginal discharges and sex. Put her together with the comic who likes farking black guys and burn the place to the ground.

/yes, somebody pissed in my cheerios.

Anderson is not married and openly gay I don't think he "wants" her.

Wonder if she really does have to give back the money for hosting as a result of the slip-up, as she told Craig Ferguson recently.

You're supposed to draw attention to the show that nobody watches before it airs. Not surprisingly its CNN, and they're doing it wrong again.

Not a brilliant comedienne, but I love her balls to call out A-listers for their entitled egos. Of course Anderson is gay, big deal. Should he admit it? It's his choice. Ricky Martin, is he gay? same thing. Hollywood/music is full of people like this. If you choose to ignore celebrities due to their sexual orientation that's your choice. Do I think Lucy Lu and Porche Derossi are less of a boner inducer knowing they're rugmunchers, yup. Only because the fantasy of hitting them has faded.

Wow, that's a sensitive filter! I was trying to post a form of the verb "to nag", as a reference to South Park. I wasn't aware anyone would be offended by that sort of nonsensical semprini.

I like Kathy. She's got balls (figuratively speaking) and she's quite clever.

A lot of people are all about Sarah Silverman, but here's why I like Kathy Griffin a lot more: She's farking clever. Sarah Silverman needs to have her act all prepared, and if you stump her in an interview, she just defaults to being vulgar. Kathy Griffin is KILLER when it comes to ad-libbing, and she's genuinely clever and funny. She can handle the conversation, and consistently remains funny and on-topic.

I dislike her cosmetic surgery, but the woman inside the plastic shell is someone I'd definitely choose to go home with. She's f*cking awesome, while Sarah Silverman might be easy on the eyes, but she's a f*cking dim-witted pig on the inside.

Didn't she do the same thing about a year ago at some awards show or something? Made some kind of vulgar joke on live TV, about sucking dick or some damn thing?

I can't even remember.

The moral indignation will start when Kathy Griffin becomes relevant again.

Last New Year's Eve, while appearing on live tv, she told a heckler that "she didn't come to his workplace and knock dicks out [heckler's] mouth, did she?"

'swhat led to the proviso that if she said anything vulgar while live this past NYE, she had to return her appearance fee.

I love Kathy too, and Anderson seems genuinely fond of her, but to break off a piece of that, Kathy would have to grow a penis. I know she's not above plastic surgery, but I think that's a line that even she wouldn't cross.

I saw her house on a recent MTV Cribs wrap-up (don't ask) and all I can say is I'm doing it wrong.

Last time I checked, "farkus" isn't the F-word.

I watched CNN that night (I have no life) and remember this. It is noncontroversy.

No outrage, but I bet if it was on Fox the conservatives would have been inconsolable.

More right-wing projection.

Ahem, Kathy Griffin was in Pulp Fiction and played a role in the Mad About You New Year's Eve program which ended with two union electricians discovering they had 20 minutes to go they had to drop the ball in Times Square. One looks at the other and asks "Hookers?" "Yeah." And they stroll off.

It's my favorite Kathy Griffin New Years Eve tradition.

I am frankly shocked and appalled. I tune in to CNN to watch news about people being macheted overseas and to see talking heads make a mockery of our political system. Not this filth.

I love her standup, even though it really isn't traditional standup comedy. There aren't a lot of jokes or even observations, so much as funny gossip. I normally hate that crap, but laugh when she does it.

/Tip it
