Oh come on...

Wayne's World is still a great movie.

Yup, Mike's done some good stuff. I Married an Axe Murderer was funny as hell. Don't get me wrong though, I wouldn't watch TLG if you promised me I could punch everyone in Westboro Baptist Church in the face afterword.

I own Wayne's World 1 & 2 and Austin Powers 1. Those are not embarrassing statements.

I think The Love Guru were parts left over from a fourth Austin Powers movie that never came to be.

Wait ... why did he throw granny under the bus??

He blamed his grandmother? WTF? Ten years at a supermax facility.

Oddly enough, I recently did watch the Love Guru. When it came out I avoided the hell out of it based on the reviews.

Know what? It's not bad for a stupid comedy, but I think it plays a bit better to a Toronto crowd.

Perhaps if you don't want to be charged with a felony you shouldn't steal something valuable and give it away to your friends.

He didn't, he stole The Love Guru. Honesly he should be charged with assaulting the internet for uploading that movie.

He's lucky that there's no law against having such a terrible taste in movies.

I found The Love Guru less offensive than The Cat in The Hat.

No, but you can hold my baseball bat.

Mike Myers is still getting publicity for this. Wasn't it always about him and his supposed genius?

2010-01-01 12:38:35 PM
(Whispering) I was surprised how much liked it

There's a nice Kanye West cameo and of course...Mariska Hargitay!

Oh, I liked So I Married An Ave Murderer. That chick was hot and I'm 1/4 Scottish so what's not to like?

Mike Meyers isn't terrible, I had forgotten about So I Married An Axe Murderer, I liked that. I liked the first Wayne's World and generally liked most of his stuff on SNL. This looked like complete shiat and I detest the Austin Powers films, so I'm not going to bother.

But seriously, the dude blaming his grandmother? How did that one go?

Maybe she's the one who demanded he be named Mischa?

Would you want to have to explain to the other prisoners that that is what you were in for?

I would never even think of downloading a movie (unless it's a paid service [LEGALLY]. Anyone can rent a movie from REDBOX for a buck.. A BUCK!! How can you be too cheap to spend that??? or get a movie subscription.. even cheaper.

Why take the risk.. I've been paid plenty to clean up virally infected computers because they thought Limewire was the greatest thing since wireless internet..

Downloading anything [Pirated] is obserd..If your still to cheap to spend a buck? go to your library, it's free!!

/Sailed the sea's long ago, realized it's pitaful..

Also what bafoon would think the love guru was that good..

I also want to know why this guy is blaming his grandmother. Either way, he's a complete moron.

He works for a tape duplication company, so I assume that's how he got his hands on the pre-release of the movie. He could have made a copy for himself, and be done with it, but he had to upload it like a dummy. What could he have gained, except harming the industry that his business (at least partly) relies on?

The Love Guru was 5/10. Not Bad. Not good. It's like they made a deal on the concept and stars, but didn't have time to add jokes. Myers doesn't seem to work well on a deadline. Plenty of his other work is entertaining.

Askani: I own Wayne's World 1 & 2 and Austin Powers 1. Those are not embarrassing statements.

Ditto.

/ I'd never done a crazy thing in my life before that night. Why is it that if a man kills another man in battle it's called heroic, yet if he kills a man in the heat of passion it's called murder?

It's probably because I was high as a kite when I saw it, but I thought The Cat in The Hat was awesome.

Federal prosecutors usually prosecute breaches of federal law...

Uploading 1 movie is a felony, something seems wrong with that.

I could understand a felony charge if they were doing it in bulk, but 1 movie, that screwed up.

Not nearly so many illegal immigration breaches.

"It's probably because I was high as a kite when I saw it, but I thought The Cat in The Hat was awesome."

That no doubt helped....it could be that I just wasn't in the proper mood for the movie. I just think that Myers may be in a rut, even his cameo in Inglorious Bastards was cliched. I kept waiting for him to raise his pinky to his lip.
