Erm... one person? I'm pretty sure that Tim Gunn + Ellen DeGeneres = Two People.

Ingrid Newkirk, on the other hand, is a batshiat crazy, sexually frustrated old bitty who doesn't love animals nearly so much as she hates humans. The only person I can think of who irritates me more with her constant verbal barf is Shirley Phelps Roper. I can only hope and pray that 2010 will be the year that Ingrid gets mauled by a bear, or something else sufficiently ironic.

PETArds say we can't be considerate to humans until we're considerate to animals. I think it's the total opposite: we can't be considerate to animals until we're considerate to humans. I've seen plenty of pet owners who are absolutely loving towards their pet(s) and are total jerkasses towards other people.

This, sadly. At one time, PETA did help change the way people treated animals. Now, they're a friggin' sideshow, alienating folks who would agree with their original mission.

Instead, PETA funds ELF and ALF nutjobs. The money donated to PETA helps folks like Stephanie Trutt - PETA threw in $7,500 to help defend an attempted murderer. ELF and ALF have done millions in damage over the last couple of decades, and PETA spent quite a bit of money bankrolling & facilitating their efforts.

And, of course, PETA needlessly kills animals. We're not talking about humane end-of-life treatment for animals with no hope - we're talking about hale, healthy, adoptable animals. The same group that would like you to refer to fish as "sea kittens" is killing real kittens, because it's more expedient and attention-getting to burn down condos than it is to feed cats.

Ellen is very proud of this honor. Now, I knew she was a dyke as far back as when she played Margo van Meter on Open House. I didn't care. When she came out on her sitcom I didn't care. When she started publicly fressing Anne Heche I didn't care. This PETA shiat I care about. It's a sign of insanity.

To punish Ellen I will never watch her talk show. In the spirit of transparency, I will admit I've never actually seen her talk show because I have job during the day. But in case I'm ever home I won't watch it. Not that I ever watch TV. I don't even have a tuner plugged in. I only use my set for DVDs and Xbox. So basically it's a symbolic threat.
