"Quick, we need a picture to showcase the Thundercats!"

"All I got was the pilot from Netflix! Wait, were they supposed to be naked?"

"Shut up! I want to get this article done so I can drown my sorrows in cheap flavored vodka!"

Thank God my memories of the hotness of Cheetara will not be sullied by some flavor-of-the-month starlet.

You know Cheetara is the hottest cartoon character of all time, right?

Y'know, I normally associate wearing nothing but boots and a belt with porn shoots, not after-school cartoons.

I don't see how you could make the Thundercats crappier than it was in it's 80s cartoon badness.

Does this mean we will get to see the one that was made with Mathew McConeghy(sp?), Uma Thurman and the monster tard from The Green Mile?

At work, can't find the picture.

I'm not a furry or anything but their generally humanoid shape without any hint of genitalia is very off-putting in some way. I mean, even Superman has a bulge.

Looks like someone pissed in Ronald McDonald's cornflakes.

Kinda glad my memories can remain intact since more likely than not this would have probably been done wrong. I'm barely hanging on to those fond memories as it is after watching an episode for the first time in years several months back.....not exactly the piece of art my childhood self made it out to be.

/loved the hell out of the toys though
//never did find "Jaga"

The one in black should be playing Mumm-Ra.

Good. God damn. Let's take a break on all the comic book movies and remakes of 80's cartoons for a while.

The Thundercats didn't stand the test of time well at all and the cartoon flat out stinks. The combat is nonexistent, most of the show is just dull and boring with nothing going on.

On the other hand shows like Transformers had all robots so you could have cool fight scenes while still remaining a childrens show.
TMNT did it right too by making most of the enemies robots.

chemrebel: I loved Thundercats growing up but Snarf always creeped me the fark out.

Why did EVERY show have to have a version of Snarf? What adult suit at a boardroom meeting decided that kids find deformity, retardation and uselessness appealing? What kid lived vicariously through that stock character? JESUSFARKINGCHRISTITSJARJARBINKS!!!

I remember a few years back when they announced they would be showing Thundercats on Cartoon Network, I couldn't wait to see if the show was as good as I remember.

It's awful! I don't know what the hell was the matter with me when I was a kid.

It happens to all of us. That's a sign that you got old. Part of that has to do with your point of reference when you are a kid. What the hell do you know from good or crap, you're 10.

Sure, stop making movies based on cartoons when you get to the ones I actually liked.

They made a live actions Flintstones movie for craps sake!

That's more movie worthy than the Thundercats?

This. Other cartoons held up well, but Thundercats? I couldn't get past the second episode, and I was NOT sober.

I understand that, but it's like MetaCarpal said. Other shows from the era are at the very least watchable. Thundercats was just unbelievably awful.

The only show that's actually gotten better as I've aged is the Animated Batman.

nmemkha: Rule 34 raped my childhood memories years ago.

If Rule 34 is accurate, there should be pics of Rule 34 itself doing the nasty with an endless variety of things, including nmemkha's memories. I refuse to search for those pics myself, though, since I'm pretty sure they'll all turn out to be gorgor links.

Thundercats seems cool looking back on it, but go ahead and watch an actual episode. They sucked, even by the standards of other 80's cartoons.
