Barbigazi: the daily news said the van had a fake police parking placard. That makes me think its a production van. They had a whole counterfeit parking placard operation on the production of I am legend.

I was think more along the lines of PA system equipment for tomorrow. The counterfeit placard isn't helping, though.

I read the headline that it was an "ABC News" van already parked in its place (which would make sense to set up a day early) and a clever use of the [News] tag.
