What, cuss at them and tell them to shut the hell up?

Personally, I would have beheaded McVeigh with a dull steak knife.

2009-12-26 11:51:47 PM
I would have paid good money to see that in person. Particularly the " I will NOT leave the plane" part...

Some dried up old hag harassed someone else s children and that's cool? How about confronting the loser parents or asking the crew to do it's job and handle it? No? BYE.

Did she hit them with potato chips?

...Authorities say the first ex-wife of billionaire Donald Trump cussed at the children Saturday...

Egh. I don't know why, but that's such a hillbilly word to me. "Cursed" or "swore" would be more appropriate for an article.

/Cool story bro

Bingo!

I hate having to endure the no necked little monsters as much as the next person, but I've got to agree that it's the parents who needed a serious cussing out.

Seconded. She is not the one with the problem. The monsters need to stfu and sit down (without kicking the seat).

Where's the HERO tag??? The only way this story could be better is if she had punched out the parents!

Wonder why she's flying commercial anyway? A few years ago, she was making plans to put up a building on the Vegas strip next door to the Sahara. People who move in those circles usually have their own jets.

I'm going to guess I've flown a lot more than most farkers - about 100,000 miles a year. I've heard kids screaming. I've had kids kick the back of my seat - even in first class. I've had a lady change a diaper right next to me. But I've never, ever, in all of my flights, seen a child run up and down the aisle screaming. Not once.

Also, my kids have been flying since they were both about 6 moths old, and we always get complimented on how well behaved they are. I don't think you should blame the kids, I think you should blame the dumbass parents who obviously don't know how to act on airplanes.

Am I the only one who is SHOCKED that she was flying commercial?

Here is a little bit more info on the situation, carefully 'lifted' from another source.

When the lawmen arrived, they discovered the abusive passenger was the well-known socialite. They described her as "belligerent" and "aggravating."

According to PBSO, Trump first was unhappy about her seat. Flight attendants offered her another, and headphones, to calm her down. But then Trump became more frustrated when children started running up and down the aisle while screaming.

You won't believe the language Trump used. Look below or click

As the plane started to taxi out, an agitated Trump started calling the kids "little fu....." and telling passengers around her "f*@& you!"

"She was so belligerent toward other passengers and crew that the plane returned to the terminal," said Teri Barbera, the PBSO spokeswoman.

Trump first refused the deputies' orders to exit the aircraft. She finally relented after Delta staff offered her to fly at a later date.

"From initial contact until Ms. Trump left the property, she was saying "f&%$ you" to all the deputies," Barbera's statement read.

FBI was contacted but didn't pursue the matter. The ordeal caused a two-hour delay for Trump's fellow passengers.

Screaming children on flights is the #1 problem with flying. Why can´t the airlines address this problem??????????

Brilliant. I once heard the pre-flight announcement given by a complete ham who did impressions of numerous celebrities in the course of it. He actually received, and deserved, a round of applause at the end.

Screaming kids on a plane? Whatever. I only have to put up with them for a little while. Their parents have to put up with them for 20+ years. That's the great thing about other people's kids. Eventually they go home. If they are brats, I sure as hell don't want to correct them. They might learn something, and that would reduce the parents' suffering. Can't have that.

Encourage citizen paparazzi to shoot video. That should cause image conscience celebrities to cool down, which is better than spending tax dollars by involving the cops. If not, then there's something you can put on YouTube.

If these kids were so bad, why is Trump the only one who blew up?

2009-12-27 08:11:59 AM
I don't understand why she's not cooling it in a cell. Anyone else refusing to leave a plane after causing a disturbance - nevermind telling law enforcement officers to fark off - would be given free room and board at the grey bar hotel whether they liked it or not.

OK, that's one way to do it. Or you could do what my husband did on a flight to Las Vegas a few years ago. A little boy was running up & down the aisle, bumping elbows has he went. After the 20th time of the mother being asked to control her child & doing nothing, my husband called over the stewardess. He told her that every time the boy passed by him, it was technically a parole violation and if she could do something about it, he'd really appreciate it.

The weird stares we got from the rest of the plane were totally worth having that nightmare of a child in his seat for the duration of the flight.

Oh noes! There are other people in the world! And children aren't grownups!

2009-12-27 08:25:07 AM
Ivana the Terrible! But seriously I'd of picked those kids up by their ears like a couple of Beagles and tossed them back at their parents saying "Animals should be crated or in the luggage compartment...".

I have another view. Small children simply don't know how to deal with a new situation but the parents have to try to calm them with new toys, activities, books, whatever it takes. On the ground; they should not have been running around but seated which makes me wonder what Trump is claiming.

In the air is another matter; children are uncomfortable due to ear issues and that is a matter of fact. I have been on planes with crying babies. You have to live with it; their ears will adjust in time and most of us are parents; right?

Some children never grow up though or grow up spoiled; Trump should have rented a Cessna if she didn't want to deal with the usual things.

It's not fun but I totally believe the parents do all they can to calm their kids. You can't reason with the children; they are scared and their ears hurt. I am taking my 2.5 year old overseas across the Pacific in a couple weeks and I am doing my best to prepare her. She knows where she is going and it's in the plane and she'll have toys because it'll be a long trip. I even took her to the observation deck to show her. What more can you do?

2009-12-27 08:32:35 AM
Ivana may have over-reacted, but the root cause was the parents of those brats who are either unable or, more likely, unwilling to control their offspring. As someone who has done security work before, I'd rather talk to a gang-banger on PCP than the mother of one of this unruly animals--their "snowflakes" can do no wrong. Bullshait!!

The flight crew should have asked that "family" to leave the plane, not for Ivana as much as for the rest of the passengers.

Well, there's justice for the masses, and then you have rich fecks... what's a citizen to do? From outa the past- "The revolution will not be televised"; not to mention," It says right there in the constitution, it's really A OK to have a revolution,
when the leaders that you choose, just can't fill the shoes."

Hells bells, my hopes were up momentarily back in 2001, but who can
honestly biatch about the thieving bastards on Wall Street when narry
a peep was uttered at the theft of the highest office in the land?
Good luck

Wouldn't it have been easier to have reached across the aisle and clotheslined the little brat when he ran by?

Because that's the only reason she's a somebody and that anyone would care.

Further proof that rich people are better than you and I. If your average person had behaved in this way on a plane, and been escorted off by cops, best believe we'd be interrogated, demeaned, jailed, and prosecuted.

Not saying she should have been jailed or prosecuted, just that is what would happen to an ordinary citizen....

Doesn't she know in America that no one takes care of their own children, it's alwasy someone else job.
