There is no way they are going to use different characters. The first one left open a reason to be tied to Vegas and to have another Bachelor party. It isn't that hard to write a way for those same guys to get into shiat again. The chemistry of those dudes is half the reason the movie was good. You gamble on another set and you are setting yourself up for failure.

My understanding of this movie is its taking parts from what was going to be the old school sequel, (which means it could take place in Thailand) so it could go either way.

I think the best course of action would be a look at what the women in the movie did while the guys were on their binge. A "Hangover" style bachelorette party would surely produce comedy and boobies :)

Zach Galafinakis can return because his guy is such a space cadet you can see him not learning anything from the first movie.

If the whole cast gets sucked in there absolutely has to be a scene where they all look at the camera and exclaim,"Here we go again!" Embrace that cheese and milk it for all its worth.

The movie should take two years after the original, Zack galafinakis's character wrote a book about the night they had, twisted it to make him seem like the hero of the story (he found out where their friend was) and made his other friends out to be clueless jackasses. The book is wildly successful and is going to be made into a movie. The guys decide they want to desperately confront Zack's character and stop the movie. Zack's character is no where to be found, but they find some clues that lead them on a crazy adventure across the continent when they end up in Martínez de la Torre where Zack's character is living in a huge mansion with tons of luxuries. They confront Zack and ask him why he did what he did and he tells him he did it so they would hunt him down and have another great adventure. He tells them he has the final cut of the movie and that they should watch it, roll credits.

but i never cheered for tiger before, just didn't care about golf - found it boring

but now that i know what kind of shizzy he gets into on his personal time, i'm a fan...

If the movie gets made quick enough, this could be good. My biggest fear with a Tiger role is that this situation will have blown over and the joke will just suck.

I'd prefer to see someone who, like Tyson, already has an image set in stone that can be screwed with. Off the top of my head, Hugh Laurie, Tony Shalhoub, Rick Moranis, Michael J Fox, Sean Connery, really anybody who hasn't been in an episode of Extras and who doesn't already exist as a self parody would be awesome.

Plus, Hugh Laurie would give the internet a memegasm and give the thing free publicity.
