On the one hand, it probably is insensitive to the families. On the other hand, if I were an actor, I'd want the studios to exploit my death as much as humanly possible. I want my movies to be seen, after all.

Just bought two of them on columbia house website with rush shipping, so the can send it before the recall gets going. Horror movie, so would be good add for the creep out factor of my collection, that and love Thora Birch, freakie little hottie IMHO.

i've seen that movie...didn't like it...at all really.
both murphy and birch's characters are involved (at separate times) with some unfortunate events related to a bathtub, so it's entirely possible they already had the birch posters available. though, unlikely.

they probably just figured throwing birch's face in there still worked with the story.

I'm not creeped out by it at all. People see movies all the farking time with dead people in them. I think that the movie company wasn't so worried about creeping people out, but they manufactured an "OMG, people are going to be creeped out" story so that more people would watch the movie, after seeing both posters on the internet and wondering what the hell it was about.

no, those are repro mini posters or maybe lobby cards..the recalled ones in the US would likely be 27 inches by 40 inches and printed with a mirror image of the poster on the reverse..a double sided one sheet- much more suitable for back lighting
