Crazy old senile woman.

You know, if the husband would just break a few of her fingers, she wouldn't be able to tie up the phone lines like that.

Just sayin'

my uncle has a spastic colon and he has terrible arguments with his wife over the food. She never makes considerations for his condition and accusses him of being like a child over eating. Once she threw a cup of tea at him and burned his upper arm, so he thrashed her. My father had to stop it.

She's only 53.

Sounds like regular old crazy, not the senile kind.

Yeah, she has at least a good 20 years if not more before senile crazy sets in. This woman just needs to calm the ef down.

i'm gonna guess that this woman has never had two black eyes.....

Texas, huh? Surprised it's not my ex wife.

Once, the ex wife made a pot roast that tasted like Robitussin. I watched her make it too, so I have NO CLUE how she pulled it off.

/cool story bro

She doesn't need charges of 911 abuse, she needs involuntary commitment to a locked ward. She's dialing 911 weekly over a 6 month period. Surely she's already been warned repeatedly, so she is clearly non compos mentis. Whether it's an organic issue or she's just a brat, the next step is a psych evaluation, not tying up more time in the criminal justice system.

Hubby must be off his rocker too, or he'd have had her committed already.

make her pay or make her face pay.

violence solves LOTS of things, you would be surprised. The only sad part is that people really are that stupid when you have to stoop to pain just to get them to think twice about their idiocy.

Was cooking two turkey breasts last night and I wasn't sure if I needed to adjust the time or temperature. The package only had instructions for one breast. So, I called 1-800-BUTTERBALL, and a very nice lady answered. She told me exactly what to do: just separate the two breasts and cook for the same length of time as you'd cook one breast. The lady even chatted me up for a while, which was really nice. I think we talked for almost two hours. And it turns out they have a live chat feature on their website. Heading over there now if anyone wants to join.

I was arrested for Googling "cooking breasts". I turned out Bubba liked to have a word with me.

Welcome to Texas Women.

I've decided that when the time comes for me to have a stable, meaningful, long lasting relationship I'm going to have to leave Texas. All the women here are, literally, bar none (despite their claims and best apperances), like this and usually worse.

I think the Amish women are best...Fairly decent looks-wise, and they've already been trained in the art of keeping the house clean.

Lock her up, to give the husband the time divorce her and get her stuff out of the house.

My first husband, God rest his soul. He died from eating poisoned mushrooms.
My second husband, God rest his soul. He died from eating poisoned mushrooms.
My third husband, God rest his soul. He died from eating poisoned mushrooms.
My fourth husband, God rest his soul. He died from a blow to the head with a blunt instrument. Because he wouldn't eat the damned mushrooms.

Yeah I can believe that. Theres a tenant in our building that has gotten 6+ fines for having very loud, very drunken parties/fights. We're talking about calling the cops almost daily because he's that much of a redneck douche. Guess what stopped him for a good two weeks? Cop threw him up against the wall and threatened him. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen ;)

/dude has technically been evicted since Dec 1'st, but the sheriff hasn't been around to "formally" give him the papers. do you think he's paying rent? hell no. ugh.

I guess I have to ask. Why did it take 30 false calls before she was arrested? Few on fark want the government the hell out of our lives more then I, police even more then most other parts of the government, and even I find a police force who will tolerate 29 false 911 calls to not be 'in your face' enough.

2009-12-24 09:15:48 AM
Just to be contrarian, I can see where one might call 911 because somebody was not eating dinner.

If my darling wifie refused to eat dinner and was about to fall on the living room floor in a diabetic coma (again), calling 911 might be appropriate. If she was quite conscious and just refusing to eat the toxic swill I cooked, then it's not appropriate. Just saying.

The wife in the article might not be senile, but a mental health evaluation/Alzheimers screening might be in order.

Because she was white and middle-class?

Since the article didn't state anything at all, I figured just the opposite. Tolerance being a one way street (and certainly not in the direction of the white middle class) and all.

Mennonite. Tons of 'em here in West Texas. They don't appear to have the crazy, and some of them are quite attractive. You just have to get past that Mennonite dad with a 12 gauge.

I would also like to point out I live 410 miles from Kerrville. And when I have to go through, I don't speed. Kerrville has a helluva speed trap on the interstate, and they'll ticket you for 5 mph over the limit. The reason they have been so tolerant of this nutcase is she doesn't make them any money if they arrest her, she costs.

I would say DIVORCE, but for one thing:

She probably would claim she was insane, thus unable to understand the divorce decree. The ex-wife threatened to do this to me, but she was (two involuntary comittals in six months). I would have had to prove she was sane, which would have destroyed me financially.

I got out of it by dangling $5000 in cash in front of her nose.

She signed the decree, and then spent it in 9 days.

No, in his situation, I think I'd still say DIVORCE. Considering what happened to me 3 years ago.

Not in this one you wouldn't.

She ended up getting 38k from my 401k also. She cashed it out and blew it in 10 weeks. Small price to pay for my sanity, custody of our son, the house, and the car. Already made 1/2 of it back, even in these hard times

She could have early onset dementia. In the nursing home where I work, we've had 3 residents (all women)in their 50's in our secured dementia unit. And they were all batshiat crazy. With early onset dementia, anti-social behavior is usually much more of an issue than memory loss, for the family. It's the behaviors that lead to institutionalization. It's very sad.
