It's called 'We don't have to pay real actors', cuz the tv exec asshats think making a show that's a part of the latest fad is better than actually putting thought into original programming (which if it ever does make it to a network these days lasts all of six eps before being cut to make room for another farking reality show.)

"Nash said Superhero will not focus on "sexual tension" like other reality series."

Really? I would've figured the nerds they find for this show would be absolutely filled with pent up sexual tension.

Either way, the "Who Wants to be a Superhero" does sound a little interesting. I never liked those reality shows though, I started to watch Temptaion Island while over here in Japan, cause I needed some english in my life, and I can't understand why people like these shows.

/cannot spell english words anymore

Super heroes? Super heroes? Super heroines are much more... appealing. Case in point: Power girl.

Um..what are her powers? I would REALLY like to know.

Hey, reality shows generate the money that pays for good stuff, like West Wing, Monk, and The Shield. The superhero one sounds fun, although me dressing up like a superhero would cause Lorenzo Lamas and his laser pen to explode.

I have an idea for a superhero. How about a guy who can fly around the world faster than the speed of sound and collect millions upon millions of stupid news stories and than upload them into this powerful internet-linked watch for people to look at. We could call him..hmm..what is a good name..

If Stan "The Man" Lee does get Adam West to be a judge, I'm absolutely going to watch the show.

Anyone else watch "Return to the Batcave" last month? I thought it was great, tongue-in-cheeky, and appropriately campy. Adam West and Burt Ward rocked in it. :)

"Stan Lee, Donald Trump both developing (separate) reality shows. Hollywood surrenders"

Hollywood surrenders? If Don Trump gets a show, and puts his H-O-DOUBLE-T HOTT daughter on the show, that'll just about get me to where I need to be. I'll surrender.

Man, anyone who thinks Stan Lee can't handle a reality tv show has obviously never seen the old Spiderman and his Amazing Friends show where old Stan did the narration. There was nothing better! And a few years ago, he hosted the "New Marvel Action Hour" or something similar, and he introduced the cartoons with these wacked-out live-action introductions. Those were incredible. And we can't forget Mallrats, or the old live-action Spider-Man tv show where he played Jonah Jameson. Those were pretty solid too. I say Stan has still got it.
